CALIFORNIA COASTERS A Chapter of FMCA SEPTEMBER 4, 2017 Coaster Chatter End of Summer Special Edition With the dark months of July & August behind us your newsletter editors wanted to get some important information out to the membership: First, Your Wagon Master forwarded a copy of the 2018 Rally Schedule to us to distribute. Most importantly is his plea for members to volunteer to be Trail Bosses for available dates in We have FIVE, 5 openings for the position of Trail Boss next year. Please, we know you are out there just waiting to be your own Boss of a rally, now is your chance. Call Howard (805) to sign up! Next, Sharon & Roger wanted to get the December Rally Registration forms out to everyone so you can plan accordingly. And last but not least, we wanted to announce all the summer Birthdays and Anniversary celebrations. 2 ! CALIFORNIA COASTERS A Chapter of FMCA SEPTEMBER 4, 2017 President s Corner I hope every one had a wonderful summer. Now it's time for some fun at our Rallies. The Buellton Rally is shaping up to be a great time with 26 coaches w/50 attendees enjoying a Chili Cook-off the first night, a Bocce Ball tournament the next day followed by an Italian Dinner that night. We will have a Membership Meeting on Wednesday the 13 th at 9:00 AM and everyone is encouraged to attend. We will have a lot to discuss, not the least of which will be the 2018 Rally Schedule. We need Trail Bosses and locations and your input will be very important. I will be attending the annual meeting of the WAFMCA in Hanford in a couple of weeks to finalize our rally plans for Indio. We do need drivers for the courtesy trams/golf carts! If you are interested in helping in any way, PLEASE let us know. We do have a lot of fun. Your Trail Bosses for the Indio Rally, Woody & Ida Jean Woodruff are still looking for a couple of First Lieutenants to help them make this an outstanding Rally for all.
