2 Volume 19 Issue 5 Page 2 From The Chapter President & Vice President Lima, Ohio 23 July 2018 This report is to inform and remind all Nomads of the upcoming events in September. The September 7, 8. 9 rally is to be held in Marietta, OH. This will be where we elect new officers for the next 2 years. The slate is as follows: President Carol Toohig Vice President Denny Edgar Secretary Mary Mary Alice Gast Treasurer Butch Sherman National Director Ernie Howard Alt Nat l Director? If anyone wishes to run for any office you are welcome to do so. We also need someone to run for Alt. National Director. As in any election you can have more than one person run for an office. If you wish to run for office or have questions and cannot attend this rally let me know via at bnesbitt5180@gmail.com or New officers will take office at the October rally at the FMCA campground in Cincinnati. Jackson Center, Ohio VP Pete Czech s rally report: Camping at Lang s Campground. Cost is $15.per night for Water and 30amp electric. We were only able to secure 8 sites for Sept. 7,8 and 9, Tom the manager will call me if more sites would become available. As of this date I have 6 coaches and 1 maybe who state they want to go. Due the popularity of the Sternwheel Festival and a lot of pipeline construction going on in the area, camping facilities are FULL. As a result if we have more than 8 coaches that want to attend Bill & Bev Nesbitt will move with the extra coaches to Carthage Gap Campground (venue of the July 2001 Chapter Rally) Brimstone Rd Coolville, OH $35 / night As a result we will have one rally parking in two different campgrounds. The business meeting and election will be at Lang s. The next regular issue will be sent out on or about 1 September If you have any news items, please send them to the editor by 20 August secretary's Report SECRETARY's Report Secretary s Report Urbana, OH May 17, :35PM The meeting was called to order by President, Bill Nesbitt, with the Pledge of Allegiance. Visitors included: Les and Sue Naylor, GLAMA President, George and Sue Myers, Ohio GLAMA Vice President, Kathy and Ralph Gehret, Debrett and Chrystal Jackson guests of DelSorbo s. Bill Nesbitt discussed the need for a temporary National Director for the Gillette, Wyoming rally in July and said Jane Roush had volunteered. Nomads would pay a stipend of $300 as per our ByLaws. Mary Alice Gast motioned to accept Jane Roush as our temporary delegate and Bob Gast seconded. Motion carried. Future rallies were discussed citing a conflict with the October rally in Cincinnati at FMCA Headquarters. Bill mentioned cancelling the Marietta rally but was overruled by those present. He said he would check on later dates at FMCA for October. Secretary s report: Report published in the Scope and will be accepted as written. Treasurer s report was published in the Scope and will be filed for audit.
