8 Tourism Attractions Downtown Daegu It is the downtown of Daegu stretching from the Daegu Station to a central police station. Since it is the second largest downtown area to Seoul in the whole country, famous brands open their branch shop first here out of the Greater Seoul area. Apsan Featuring buddhist temples and Korean War Museum, people can enjoy a gondola ride to the peak. The mountain, being the closest to the urban area in Daegu, is a popular site for weekend outings from the city with its attractive trails. Korean Traditional Culture Sites (Andong, Gyeongju, etc) Daegu Airport has 5 sites out of 10 World Culture Heritage within 1 hour by car World Culture Heritage designated by UNESCO Andong Hahoe Village, Gyeongju Yangdong Village, Seokguram, Bulguksa, Gyeongju Historical Site. Bulodong Ancient Tomb Colony Ancient Korean remains (4~5 centuries) 10 minutes from Daegu Airport Palgongsan Lying on an outlier of the Taebaek range, it boasts a peak of 1190m above sea level. 24 Incentives D aegu International Airport offers various incentive prog -rams for airlines to develop and expand flight services.
