2 Itinerary LOC provides transfer from the hotel to the meeting venue, GSI headquarters every day. Please gather at the lobby of Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tsukuba at the rendezvous time described below. A bus will pick you up in front of the entrance of the hotel and leave immediately when it becomes rendezvous time. Banquet We hold a banquet at a Japanese bar restaurant Kagari from 18:30 to 20:30.

The microbus picks you up and takes you to the banquet place.

4 Banquet We hold a banquet at a Japanese bar restaurant Kagari from 18:30 to 20:30. Please rejoin at the lobby of Daiwa Roynet at 18:00. The microbus picks you up and takes you to the banquet place. Don t miss the bus, or you will walk to the restaurant. Kagari Address: DAYZ TOWN Tsukuba B1, 1-9-2, Takezono, Tsukuba Excursion On October 5th, LOC is planning a visit to the Map and Survey Museum and an excursion to the Ishioka Geodetic Observing Station which is equipped with VLBI telescope, GNSS stations, and observing building. That would be a good opportunity for GGOS Days participants to see an exhibition of the museum and the fundamental geodetic observatory which has a potential to be a GGOS core site in Japan. Please gather at the lobby of Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tsukuba at 8:30 to take the bus for excursion. 3

Transportation to Airport To Narita Airport Airport Limousine Bus services between Narita and Tsukuba/Tsuchiura is the most convenient way. It takes about 1 hour to get Narita via an expressway.

You need to reserve your seat and purchase a ticket in advance. You can purchase a ticket at Kantetsu Service Center (open: 9:00 to 19:00) or via online. The fee is 2,200 JPY. Please visit the official website for further information. Time table to Narita is To Haneda Airport [By Bus] Airport Limousine Bus is available to Haneda too. It takes about 2 hours to get Haneda via an expressway. You DON T need to reserve your seat. Please purchase a ticket at the Tsukuba center before boarding at Kantetsu Service Center. The fee is 1,850 JPY. Please visit the official website for further information. 5

7 Time table to Haneda [By Train] You can also get to Haneda by changing trains several time in hours. The fee is around 1,800 JPY. You can search your route from Tsukuba to Haneda on the website. The first step is to take Tsukuba Express at Tsukuba station. To Tokyo [By Train] You can get Tsukuba Express trains at Tsukuba station to get to Tokyo. It takes 45 minutes to 55 minutes to the final stop, Akihabara. The fee is 1,190 JPY. Please visit the official website for more information. 6
