2 PROGRAM CONTENT AND FORMAT This program is intended to provide detailed information on the anticipated contracting opportunities for the architecture, engineering, construction, and environmental communities in the northeast U.S. for FY2009. Presentations will include an overview of each agency s mission and explanations of their procurement practices. Speakers will provide detailed forecasts about projects which have not yet been issued for procurement. Speakers will be available for networking during luncheon and at the reception immediately following the program. As an exhibitor, you will receive: an area in the meeting room/reception area suitable for a table top or full size display; one complimentary individual registration; advertising in all print and electronic promotions; and recognition at conclusion of event. This is well below the CONUS rate for the region and provides great value for this event. To make a reservation, contact the hotel directly and reference our event: SAME FedConOpps meeting. 4 HELP US SUPPORT THE TROOPS SAME NJ Post has undertaken an effort to send care packages of frequently-requested items to enlisted, commissioned, and reserve troops presently serving in units stationed in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantanamo Bay. Last year 1,802 lbs. of items were donated during the program and delivered successfully. We prepared and shipped more than 90 boxes averaging 20lbs. each! Our goal is to send shipments to multiple destinations immediately after our program so they arrive near the December holidays. Please join me in collecting items from the list below and bringing them to the meeting on Thursday, November 19 th at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott Hotel. When you arrive at the hotel, drive around to the back. We will have volunteers to assist you with your donations. Items will be collected at registration. We also forward letters of encouragement written to the troops. This is a perfect project for children in your local schools and religious centers and brings heartfelt support to those serving us. Items being accepted Non-perishable pre-packaged foods Fruit bars, granola bars, cookies, non-melting candy (M&M s), powdered drink mixes (e.g., Gatorade, iced tea, Kool Aid, lemonade, coffee, tea, hot chocolate mix), instant creamer, sugar, hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, liquid flavor ice pops, chewing gum, beef jerky, Twizzlers, Tootsie Roll pops, bubble gum, Skittles, Life Savers, Sweet Tarts, peanuts, pretzels, potato chips, dried fruit snacks, trail mix, Slim Jims, raisins, pop tarts, cereal, peanut butter, peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers, shelf stable milk. Family type magazines Sports Illustrated, National Geographic, Time, Entertainment Weekly, crossword puzzles. (Please remove or cut out mailing addresses), paperback books, card games, board games (Risk, Uno, checkers, chess), playing cards. Personal Hygiene Items Instant hand sanitizers, soap, mouthwash, toothpaste, hand lotion, toothbrushes, soft toilet paper, deodorant, Chapstick, non-aerosol shaving cream, shampoo, wet wipes, sun screen, razors, feminine hygiene items and feminine products. Basic 1st Aid items Band Aids, Advil, cortisone cream, Neosporin. Linen Single (twin) bed sheets that can fit on a cot and pillows, pillow cases. Blankets will be accepted for those serving in Afghanistan. Supplies AA batteries, writing paper, pencils, small pencil sharpeners, pens, telephone calling cards, Patriotic stickers and emblems. Beanie Babies, Soccer Balls and Shoes, Infant clothing and Supplies New or clean, gently used items are also accepted to give to children in area hospitals and orphanages. Items not being accepted Weapons Potentially hazardous materials (e.g., mace, aerosol cans, lighter fluid) Pornographic materials Pork products Perishable items such as fresh fruit and vegetables Chocolate candy that melts

By Air - Newark Liberty International Airport Hotel shuttle picks up from all terminals every 15 minutes Terminal A: Take the escalator (near Baggage Carousel 6) down from Baggage Claim and follow the signs for PARKING A. Proceed through the parking garage to outside. The Marriott shuttle will pick up at the curb. Terminal B: Proceed to Baggage Claim (near Baggage Carousel 4 or Door #6) and take the escalator down from Baggage Claim to the lower level. Follow signs for Ground Transportation Waiting Area and Parking B, and proceed to the middle island. Follow signs for Bus Lanes 5-8. The Marriott shuttle will pick up under the sign that says Shared Ride Services at the end of the island. Terminal C: Follow signs for Baggage Claim (near Baggage Carousel 9), and proceed through Door # 5 outside and cross the street to the middle island. The Marriott Shuttle will pick up at the last section of the island, to the right, and under the sign that says Shared Ride Services. Taxi from all terminals -- Estimated fare $15.00 one way By Rail - AMTRAK and NJ Transit Take New Jersey Transit or AMTRAK to the AirTrain Station at Newark Airport and go to the P4 Stop. Walk downstairs and the Marriott Shuttle will pick you up outside. There will be a green/white sign EO3.
