1 CHAMISA KINDERGARTEN SUPPLY LIST The MANDATORY $25 Kindergarten fee for Kindergarten supplies and art projects can be paid on-line at (Pay Fees Here) or by check/money order made payable to LAPS The following items must be labeled with your child s name: 1 backpack no wheels, please 1 pocket folder with the pocket at the bottom, not on the side 1 regular size towel 30 x54 for naptime (there is no room for a big towel) These items should not be labeled. They will be placed in a general supply area in the room: 2 packages of baby wipes 80 count (unscented, if possible) 12 Elmer s glue sticks 2 boxes soft tissue 1 4 oz. bottle of Elmers white glue Crayons 8 pack and 16 pack Colored pencils pack 1 box Crayola markers pack You will be notified if some of these items need to be replaced or if other items not on this list are needed after the second semester. As part of the School Safety Plan, all students are expected to have a two-day supply of food and medications should a shelter in place incident occur. Individual : Place recommended contents (nothing that leaks or spoils) in a gallon-sized zip-lock bag, sealed, with student name, teacher and grade written on bag: One 16 oz bottle water One juice box 4-5 non-perishable food items such as: canned fruit, tuna, or pasta in individual pouches or cans with pull off lidsthat can be eaten cold; fruit snacks, granola bars, beef jerky, cheese or peanut butter crackers, package cookies Comfort items such as: family picture and/or note from parents Special treat and small comfort toy that fits in bag Individual medications with doctor s permission slip (medications they cannot be without for 2 days) These items will be returned at the end of the school year

The following must be labeled: 1 set of headphones (no earbuds) 1 school box (cigar box size) plastic is best 1 pair of pointed children s scissors 1 24 count box of crayons label each crayon (sharpie is preferred to labels) 1 small box of colored pencils label each pencil (sharpie is preferred to labels) 1 wide ruled composition notebook 2 plastic pocket folders 1 ½ 3-ring binder (no tab dividers are needed) Do not label the following general classroom supplies: 12 plain, sharpened #2 pencils 2 pink pearl erasers 1 large box of tissues 2 large packages of BABY WIPES (not disinfectant wipes) 1 box of washable markers 5 glue sticks 3 black dry erase markers As part of the School Safety Plan, all students are expected to have a two-day supply of food and medications should an emergency occur. Place recommended contents (nothing that leaks, spoils or needs warming up) in a sealed gallon sized zip lock bag with student name, teacher and grade written on bag. (Bag should close; one bag per student.)
