1 14 Days Amazing Xingjiang Tour Day1: Singapore-Xi an-urumqi (Meal on board) Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight to Capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region- Urumqi via Xi an. Upon arrival, proceed to enjoy Xinjiang Ethnic performance with buffet dinner at own expense. Day2: Urumqi Tianchi Fukang (BLD) Today enjoy your coach journey to Tianshan Mountain scenic area. Highlight will surely be Tianchi Lake. Also known as Heavenly Lake, this crescent-shaped lake deserves its name, Pearl of Heavenly Mountain (Tianshan Mountain). With melted snow as its source, Heavenly Lake enjoys crystal water. Take a boat ride on the lake to explore the amazing scenery. Thereafter, head for Fukang for accommodation. Day3: Fukang Buerjin (BLD) Morning, head for Buerjin. Buerjin County. located at Altay region bordering China & Russia, it is full of exotic atmosphere. The western-style house, the unique scenery are main attractions for tourists. Today visit Multicolored Bay (or Five Colored Bend). Covering an area of 3 sq kilometers, it has a typical wind erosion physiognomy and is believed to be the most beautiful one of its kind in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Various colors in the bay account for its name. Multicolored Bay has an impressive landscape. Tonight, appreciate the Sunset by Ertix River. Day4: Buerjin Kanas (BLD) After breakfast, proceed to Kanas Nature Reserve. Loacted at Altay region. Kanas Lake is mysterious and charming and rich in animal and plant resources. Make a stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Crouching Dragon Bay, Moon Bay, Yaze Lake and Angel Bay. Next you will take a sightseeing bus to Kanas Scenic Area. Climb up to the Fish-viewing Pavilion where you can get an anatomic view of Kanas Lake. Day5: Kanas Buerjin (BLD) Today, pay a visit to Kanas Nature Reserve again. Then proceed to view a Tuwa Village from far. Tuwa people, also called Dewa or Kukumenqiak, have a long history and were recorded in ancient literature. As Chinese Mongolian, Tuwa people keep their unique custom and language. After that, continue your coach journey to Buerjin. Visit the Night Market which is famous for Grilled Fish & other local snacks (at own expense). Day6: Buerjin Karamay Kuitun (BLD) Morning, depart for Karamay, well-known as Oil City. On the way, you can see the derrick everywhere. Today s highlight should be the legendary Ghost City (little train included), where you can enjoy the Gobi scenery. Ghost City is characterized by its unique scene caused by wind erosion, lies in the Urho district that is 100 kilometers north of Karamay. Also it is the filming location of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Thereafter proceed to Kuitun for night accommodation. Day7: Kuitun Yining (BLD) After breakfast, enjoy your coach ride to Yining. Upon arrival, visit the Sailimu Lake. Sailimu surrounded by peaks, blue lake, and green grass. Although located in the mountains, but it is located in the ancient and modern lane of traffic to the ancient Silk Road, North Road, Urumqi - Yili Road Kuitun - Sailimu. The pass lies in Tieguan Gorge which has been a strategic location since ancient times. A famous poet named Cen Sen in the Tang Dynasty ( ) once wrote a poem depicting the steepness of the pass. In his poem the gate is a place where people worry seriously about how to pass through, and where persons are rarely seen. Looking upwards, you can only see the cliff; looking downwards, the torrential water rushes with waves churning in Kongque River. Day11: Korla Turpan (BLD) In the morning, coach to Turpan. Visit Jiaohe Ancient Town, which is the most famous ancient cities along the Silk Road. It is found from underground 2000 years ago. Also make a stop at Uygur Cultural Village to explore the unique folklore and culture. Then proceed to Kares System-life resources of the oasis. Karez system is very delicate irrigation system made up of vertical wells, underground canals, above-ground canals and small reservoirs. Lastly visit the Grape Valley covered with layer upon layer of grapes. Also taste fresh fruit in Uygur House. Day12: Turpan Urumqi (BLD) Proceed to the well-known Flaming Mountain which looks like burning flame under the sunshine, hence the name. Also make a stop at Silu Carpet Store. Then depart via Shanshan for Hami, also called the East Gateway of Xinjiang. On the way back to Urumqi, visit the dabancheng wind power plants (the largest in Asia). When we arrive, visit the Xinjiang International Bazaar, which is a symbol of prosperity in business and tourism, but also as a minority in Urumqi city landscape architecture, with a rich Islamic architectural style, to reproduce the prosperity of the ancient Silk Road. Lastly, visit Lei Jinxin handicraft mall. DAY13: Urumqi XI AN (BLD) Morning, take domestic flight to Xi an, the eternal city of Silk Road, recording the great changes of the Chinese nation just like a living history book. Start your Xi an tour with a visit to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. It is the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century, listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. After dinner proceed to Dayanta North Square, the biggest fountain square in Asia. DAY14: XI AN SINGAPORE (B) After breakfast, visit the Square of Bell & Drum Tower & Dibao Silk Museum. Then enjoy your leisure time at Xi an Cultural Street, and fly back to Singapore.
