11 2018 Cub Scout Resident Camp Overnight camp for all Scout levels Arrow of Light Camp (Scouts going into 5 th grade) Will work on advancements: Castaway, Camper, Aquanaut, Into the Woods Webelos Camp (Scouts going into 4 th grade) Will work on advancements: Webelos Walk About, Cast Iron Chef, First Responder, Into the Wild, and Aquanaut Wolf/Bear Camp (Scouts going into 2 nd & 3 rd grade) Will work on advancements: Call of the Wild, Paws on the Path (Wolves); and Bear Claws, Bear Necessities, Bear goes fishing, Salmon Run, and Fur Feathers and Ferns (Bears). Plus tons of fun activities: swimming, archery, BBs, hiking, cave exploring, camp fire, games, and much more! 11

BB guns, archery, projects, STEM, and much more! Come fish with us with a portable pond with live fish brought to us by Cabela s. Learn to filet carp, cast, how to bait a hook, and test your luck in the pond! 17

61 FRIENDS OF SCOUTING Jan Veinfurt What is Friends of Scouting? Largest single source of revenue for the council budget. The donations provide the support for local camps, programs and leadership to ensure a quality Scouting experience for the more than 66,000 youth in the Greater St. Louis Area Council. Plan for Successful Campaign All Units have a presentation 100% unit and family participation Incentives

62 FRIENDS OF SCOUTING If your unit meets its Friends of Scouting goal, the Council will provide the following: All cloth advancement badges for your scouts next year! Tiger, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and the Arrow Light patches for the Cub Scout program. Boy Scout patches include Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, and Life. The Eagle badge and presentation kit are provided to qualified candidates through goal achievement plus. Venturing awards that qualify are the Pathfinder Award, the Discovery Award, and the Summit Award patches.
