Sprawling over hills, valleys deserts, it is a place an experience to be enjoyed savored! SANTA MONICA PIER People from all over the world flock to this ocean resort to enjoy the spectacular coastline views. Its nine-acre pier dates back nearly 100 years! As if restaurants an amusement park aren t enough, Santa Monica Place offers three levels of shopping is adjacent to the world-famous Third Street Promenade a pedestrian-only, open-air entertainment plaza. BAND DIRECTOR'S MEETING This morning, the directors drum majors will attend the Tournament of Roses breakfast welcome ceremony. The lead motor coach driver will also attend go through the route to scope out bus parking drop-off locations for parade morning. HOLLYWOOD TOUR Visit Olvera Street, the Mexican marketplace located in one of the oldest streets in Los Angeles. Drive through the posh Beverly Hills Bel-Air Estates areas to get a glimpse of the homes of some of Hollywood s stars. Continue along famous Rodeo Drive where beautiful mansions exclusive shops showcase the lifestyles of the rich famous. See Mann s Chinese Theater where stars hs or footprints have been immortalized. Some have imprinted their trademarks (John Wayne s fist Jimmy Durante s nose) while others have left personal messages. The Hollywood Bowl Sunset Strip are featured as well. LUNCH AT HARD ROCK CAFE Since its 1971 opening in London, Hard Rock Cafe has become a global phenomenon. With 100 restaurants all over the planet, this popular eatery features great rock memorabilia, music food in a high-energy setting. REHEARSAL (TBD) This afternoon's rehearsal ahead of your upcoming performances. will take place at a local facility Bfest Tournament of Roses MEDIEVAL TIMES Enjoy the splendor of the Middle ages inside an 11th-century European Castle. As guests of royalty, lords ladies of the court sit down to a medieval-style feast served by costumed wenches while knights on horses are challenged to jousting matches sword fights. 3 BANDFEST (TBD) The excitement begins at the Pasadena City College Stadium as six specially-invited bs from around the nation perform for boosters fans in this thrilling field show exhibition sponsored by the Rose Bowl Music Committee. This is a favorite for millions who set time aside every year to view this nationally televised event. *PARADE TICKET PROVIDED FOR 30 CHAPERONES/TRUCK DRIVERS* DELI LUNCH A deli-style lunch will be provided upon your arrival back at the hotel after a fantastic performance in the 126th Tournament of Roses Parade! If received 61 days or more prior to departure, monies which can be retrieved from suppliers are refundable. Cancellations received 60 days up to including day of departure are non-refundable unless a substitution is made. Responsibility Music Travel Consultants, division of Star Travel Services Inc. ("Agent") acts only as Agent in providing means of transportation or other services. The airlines motor coaches ships concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not aboard the airline or motor coach or ship.
