4 TRANSPORTATION: Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event. Taxicabs are available outside of baggage claim, approximately $36.00 each way for up to 2 people. $ per person thereafter. The Convention Center and all associated hotels is approximately a 30 minutes cab ride from the airport. UBER is available at our airport if they call ahead of time. Depending on what level of UBER, the prices range from about $ 20 - $48. Airport Shuttle o o $48 pp roundtrip o $24 pp one way. o They do stop at several hotels. ** Beginning Tuesday at 7 AM shuttle service will begin running between Sheraton, New Orleans Marriott, Lowes, LeMerdian and the Convention Center. Shuttle will be available approximately every 20 minutes. Shuttle schedule is posted at each stop along the route. HOTELS: Veeam is contracted with 8 hotels for the conference. Other hotels are available but none have negotiated rates for VeeamON. Many of the emergencies also strike with little or no warning. 10 LEAD RETRIEVAL PROCESS This year we have license based as well as standalone lead gathering processes. License based utilizes your mobile phone as the lead scanning device. Sponsors are provided a number of licenses and standalone units based on sponsor level: Premier: 6 Licenses & 1 stand-alone Platinum: 5 Licenses & 1 stand-alone Gold: 4 Licenses & 1 stand-alone Silver: 1 stand-alone Exhibitor: 1 stand-alone Staff will assist with set-up of lead retrieval on site and will bring units to your booth We require the name and address of those who will use the license on their phone. The goal is to produce customer and partner interviews, videos, etc. to use during and post-event as additional content pieces. Please contact Shana Brewer at (626) with questions. 15 VEEAMON RAFFLETHON Wednesday May 17 th Give-aways (worth at least $50) are raffled off every 15 minutes at the Wednesday evening Expo Lounge evening event The Schedule: 5:00 6:00 pm Networking, eating, ticket gathering 6:00 7:00 pm Raffles drawn The Logistics: Attendees are given their 1st raffle ticket upon registration Sponsors will be supplied raffle tickets and a green bucket Sponsors award attendees raffle tickets when they stop at the booth Raffle tickets will be awarded during exhibit hours on Tuesday evening, Wednesday, as well as Wednesday evening, prior to the event Veeam s Sterling Wilson will MC the event Sponsors will come to the Partner Stage in the Expo Lounge to draw a ticket and announce raffle winner WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN Premier Party Zone Wednesday May 17 th Immediately following the Rafflethon attendees will flow to the Premier Party Zone where 4 of the Premier sponsors will be hosting parties at the following locations from 7:15 PM 9:15 PM.
