7 APR 2 OUR COMMUNITY Etihad Airways continues to drive economic growth According to the latest study by leading global advisory firm, Oxford Economics, Etihad Airways, together with its subsidiary and joint venture organisations, continued to play a crucial role in supporting and driving economic growth in the UAE across the following three key areas: Core Economic Contribution: The core economic growth contributions are classified into a number of key areas: direct (within Etihad), indirect (suppliers to Etihad), induced (spending of direct and indirect employees) and catalytic (impacts on other industries). In 24, Etihad Airways core operations and capital expenditure contributed a total of US$.4 billion to Abu Dhabi and supported over 7, jobs in total.
