6 Trails Trails are looking better. Thank you all who have been riding the north trails and staying more off the south trails. This really seams to be working. Please watch going over all bridges, we are working on the best thing to put on them so they are not so slick. Some are also washing out around them, we are seeing what all we need to fix them and will get out there as soon as we have a crew together. Looking into redoing the water & bridge crossing at Hanks home on the orange trail so that we can cross either better. We need to cut some trees on the Blue trail so that 4 wheelers can not pass through also. Campground We are in need of help clearing the area where the shed will be placed. We can not have it delivered till this is ready (cant move it once set). This will be on the agenda for the work party, along with other things. Tom is working on replacing the water spickets so they don t leak, some are cracked. Camp Tusc. Needs help On Nov 9 th at noon they planning to mark and open the horse trails at Camp Tuscazoar and asking for volunteers to come down and help from all the horse clubs possible. This will be an opportunity for local horse people to get involved and provide input. Bring a covered dish of your choosing for after we're done. Great place for day rides, and we should help our fellow trails. Welcome to our club! Summit OHC is requesting to hold their March ride at our camp, voted & approved. O.A.T.S. Horse group has requested to join us in our Spring ride and maybe Fall ride. We will cook the food and have a trail ride as always. They will provide all horse activities (and they have tons of ideas). Nothing is set in stone right now, but as soon as we know we will post it. As a heads up, we will have our regular prices and they the second option pricing for all the activities, and you can choose what you want to do. Reservations will be required. Talk of endurance ride, Demos, and clinics. This will be a nice draw to the club! They will provide the INS for the event. More info to come. Horsemen s Corral may want to also use the facility for a group ride of all advertisers in the corral. This is also just in the planing, more to come! Just a day ride maybe to to Vaughan s and all gets own lunch. Will see what we all come up with. If there are other clubs that would like to make use of our facility, please call Greg Bauman or come to a board meeting the first Sunday of every month. This promotes horsemanship and what we stand for! Running Loose! We need to add to our tie lines at Vaughan s so when we do these group rides we can fit more then 2 horses on the tie stand. Vaughan s is thrilled that we want to add them, we just need volunteers to help put them up. Civic Center Be sure to sign up for the Civic Center, Its that time of year again! See pg 5 for calendar. Everyone Loves Rummers.. We are talking about putting a arena in the playground area. Currently we are checking pricing and with the watershed to see what we are allowed to do. So far things are looking good. We will keep everyone posted. Our goal is to have business donate to have the $ to put this in and then the $ raised from the arena will all go to the electric fund to move this along much faster. We have a long 6 list that would come and rent the arena and then what we can host ourselves is endless. This has not been voted on yet either, we have to see what all the numbers are and if we can do it before we even think about it. So if you have been hearing rummers, they are true but nothing will be going in till voted on, no worries :) Update For Ben Luster Clarence F. Was able to attend the meeting for a update on Ben. He has been battling cancer for a long time and almost lost his life many of times. Prayers are working!! The stem cell transplant has worked 100% which is amazing! He is already started back to work and looks promising to stay well. He wants to tank everyone for the support! So glad to hear good news, we wish you the best, and all others that need it as well! SO Sticky We voted to get next years stamps due to them going up 20 more cents very soon. Forever stamps so they last. Scholarship If you are going to school in the 2015 school year (beyond high school) any age can apply for this and any type of schooling. We Give 2 at $500 each. Send a letter to the PO Box (must be mailed) no later then Dec 31 post marked. At the January meeting the board votes and announces at the Winter Banquet. Just state why you want the scholarship and what you are using it for and why we should choose you. Cloths Everywhere...Not Any More! The Tri-Co Cabinet is done for all the shirts, be sure to check it Halloween! Get your Orange for hunting season!
