The Western Australian Agricultural Dept has come to the party in an effort to clear the air. Hobby growers can now get permits to bring up to 20 orchids into WA without going through the drama of having your orchids treated in your home state. They must, of course be free of insect pests and diseases and inspected on arrival at the Ag Department site in South Perth. They tell me that if you have a bit more than the 20 orchids, you can apply for a second permit to cover them. htm September Australian Springtime Flora Festival. 6 CORRECTIONS As supplied by Nick Koutsoukis (husband of always helpful Judge, Kathy) who has gone to the trouble of looking them up for us. Many more of us may have bought these originally as young plants labelled Parent X Parent, and they have now been registered under a new name. In all cases, the new registered name is shorter, catchier and more memorable. Three good reasons to update those labels now. October 2011 Carmen Spiteri Cym. Touchstone Mahogany x Last Tango = Cym.
