3 Proposed Interclub Challenge February 14 Yarrawonga, Albury/ Wodonga, Wangaratta & Wagga Wagga Interclub Challenge 2 nd Meeting at Keith & Jenny Kilo s Tabletop Albury at am. Andew Easton, Travis Milton Anita Laidlay and myself travelled to Table Top for a meeting with the above mentioned Clubs with the view of starting an Interclub Challenge but at this stage only two clubs were able to commit it was then proposed we have a five Club walkabout with Albury/ Wodonga,Shepparton, Wangaratta, Wagga Wagga & Yarrawonga. With each Club to host the event at five year intervals. It was also proposed to have a Show at Corowa each year in November for the later flowering Orchids the first Show is proposed for 2017 (The Three Rivers Orchid Show ) We will be having another meeting on Sunday the 19 th June 2016 at 10-30am at 59 Mitchelmore St Wagga Wagga. As more information becomes available I will pass it on. Postal Charges As you would all know postage has gone up to $1-00 so if there are any of our members who are getting the newsletter posted to you and you have an address please let us know. We get $ in memberships and we pay out for Stationery & Printing $794-00, Postage $203-00, Catering $255-00, Insurance $542-00, & $54-00 to Fair Trading each year these are just some of the costs. The Orchid Society of New South Wales and several societies have or are proposing to charge to post out their Bulletins/Newsletters and this will be up for Discussion at our next meeting. March Meeting Stephen Stebbing from Orchids on Newbold has offered to come to our meeting and do a talk he will also have Orchids for sale on the night. Please make it worth his while. Sarc Comp Could all our members who purchased Sarc s for our completion in 2015 please bring them in at our March meeting 2016 so we can all see how there progressing. Stephen Stebbing who supplied the Sarc s can then look over them and give us some advice on how we are going with them.
