3 Club Subscriptions At the AGM held on the 23th of July 2016, it was decided to keep the annual club subscription at $30.00 per member. At the meeting it was also decided to increase the prompt payment discount to $10.00 if payment is received by 30 September So save yourself $10.00 and only pay $20.00 till the end of September. Subscriptions for the year are now due and can be paid to the club as follows:- Deposit into the Club bank account Westpac Bank A/C Number (Please don t forget to insert your name as reference) or Cheque made out to Rover Car Club of Otago. Post to : PO Box 2075 Dunedin 9004 or Cash or cheque handed to the Treasurer. Please do not sent cash by post in case it gets lost. Thank you to those members who have already paid their subs. IGNITION September 2016 Normal turnout for our Pre Meeting meal & meeting. This time there was also another function on But the orders were taken early & the meals were quicker. Our only problem was when they started it was hard to be heard in the area we were using. After meeting I went & saw management and have arranged for us to use the pool room as before. see minutes for Attendees. The Tomcat went in to have a new head gasket fitted (was leaking) and all that entails. Took longer than expected but had it for the Auto-Spectacular. Photos and details elsewhere. Welcome to Norman Phillips from Lawrence a new member who we met and filled in the form at the Show. We made several other contacts and their flyers are on other pages in the Mag. Each item has the same 'set up' fee of $60 regardless of quantities. MATTERS ARISING/GENERAL :Auto Spectacular - Sept 10th. At the Races' theme. Quick discussion on display and decision made to meet inside Edgar Centre on the Friday at 3:45pm. Vehicles - Bill Olsen's Discovery, Badgers Rover Mini in its racing livery, Jeff's Tomcat, a covered trailer for housing a TV and DVD player to show relative clips. If possible at this late time, a P5. Nove Rove - report by Bill Falconer. There are ONLY 8 rooms booked at present, we are short on numbers and need a minimum of 15 people for the $30 Sat night meal and $24 full Sunday breakfast. There will be about 19 km of gravel road. Bring lunch for the Saturday. We will start at Milton, 9:45am For Central people, we will meet at Rae's Junction 10:45am. Norman reported Waimate50 on 23 October. Meeting closed 7:35pm Next meeting: 7:00pm Tuesday 4th Oct RSA Mosgiel. Meal at 6:00pm for those who wish.
