7 Restaurants in our area to support Looking for a great place to have dinner. Why not support these Restaurants that support our club activities. It will make it easier also the next time we ask them for assistance. Over the next few months we will feature those Restaurants that participated in our Great Restaurant Raffle. Enjoy Great Expectations Seafood Restaurant 55 Fletcher St, Essendon, Phone: Through the front doors of this converted Federation-era house is a very intimate restaurant, spread out across little alcoves, giving diners an aura of exclusivity. The wine list is nearly completely Australian, and the contemporary menu takes an international approach: the crayfish is served in a mornay, thermidor, or Americaine (tarragon, chilli and brandy) sauce, and the Atlantic salmon is Moroccan-spiced. The dessert platter is of grand proportions, including baked cheesecake, a French cream pastry swan, a chocolate basket filled with strawberries and pistachio ice cream, a pecan nut and dried fruit parfait, and chocolate marquis. The cocktail list is tiny, yet well-chosen as aperitifs. Jack & Jill on Windy Hill Cafe 72 Napier Street, Essendon Phone: Jack and Jill On Windy Hill Cafe is the perfect place to sit and unwind over a cup of freshly percolated coffee. Serving light cafe style meals, Jack and Jill invites its patrons to de-stress and take some time out of their busy lives. Family friendly and very affordable. The Sassy Food Room 688 Mount Alexander Rd, Moonee Ponds 3039 VIC Phone: (03) The staff at Sassy take pride in creating daily specials that make the most of fresh ideas and ingredients. Although there is a permanent a la carte menu, regulars say it is redundant when faced with the temporary temptations of the blackboard menu. Red brick walls, open fireplaces and timber floors evoke the rich history of the building, but nothing else is dated here.

Did Up and Coming Events Four switches can be turned on or off. One is the light switch for the incandescent overhead light in the next room, which is initially off, but you don't know which. The other three switches do nothing. From the room with the switches in it, you can't see whether the light in the next room is turned on or off. You may flip the switches as often and as many times as you like, but once you enter the next room to check on the light, you must be able to say which switch controls the light without flipping the switches any further. (And you can't open the door without entering, either!) How can you determine which switch controls the light?
