8 CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES (CEA) is one of China s `big three state-owned airlines, with its hub at Shanghai. Its fleet has more than 500 aircraft with an average age of less than seven years. CEA served nearly 80 million travellers annually in 2013 and ranks fifth in the world in terms of passenger transportation volume.
