3 SAS joins the TSA Pre program. Program eligibility and description: The program is available for US citizens and US permanent residents. TSA Pre is available when departing from a U.S. airport to another U.S. or foreign destination, and for domestic, connecting flights after returning to the U.S. Current status for TSA Pre at SAS Gateways: BOS - Terminal E no TSA Pre lane EWR - Terminal B no TSA Pre lane IAD - TSA Pre OK LAX - TSA Pre OK MIA - TSA Pre OK ORD - Terminal 5 no TSA Pre Lane SFO - TSA Pre OK Note: At security check points where TSA Pre is not offered, passengers with TSA Pre line up together with all the non TSA Pre passengers but are handed a card once they reach the TSA Document check positions. This card will give the TSA Pre passengers some benefits allowing them to keep shoes, and light outer garments on. Their carryon luggage will however be processed as a normal passengers. This is sort of a TSA Pre" Hybrid" process. 8
