1 #EcoHunt07 Instructions Step. Complete the registration survey at usu.edu/earthday Step. Have each of your team members complete the EcoHunt waiver form at usu.edu/earthday. Until each of your team members has filled out the waiver, your team WILL NOT be able to complete step 4. Step. Sign up for Instagram or use one of your team member's existing accounts. The winners of the EcoHunt 07 competition may submit up to 00 photos. So, if you do not want to clutter your personal Instagram account, it is STRONGLY recommended that you create a team account for the EcoHunt. Step 4. Pick up your team's festival marker at the USU Earth Day Festival tabling event on Friday, April between 9 am and pm. This year's festival markers are reusable Blue Goes Green bags. Each team will receive one bag. The bag must be visible in ALL of the EcoHunt photo submissions, in order for photos to receive points. Step 5. Complete EcoHunt challenges to earn points towards the grand prizes. EcoHunt challenges may be completed between April at 9 am and April at :59 pm. Submissions before or after these dates will not be accepted. IMPORTANT: EcoHunt challenges are submitted by posting pictures of your team members completing the challenges to Instagram. Not all of your team members have to be in each photo. But, the festival marker, i.e. Blue Goes Green bag, MUST be visible in each photo. For each challenge, your team MUST hashtag not only the challenge name, but also "EcoHunt 07" and your team name. For example, to complete the "Hike to the Wind Caves" challenge, you must post a picture with the Wind Caves in the background and your Blue Goes Green bag clearly displayed, and add #EcoHunt07, #yourteamname and #WindCaves. It is STRONGLY recommended that you print out this instructions/challenges packet and mark down which challenges your team has completed, as you complete them. It is also recommended that you keep backup photos of all completed challenges.
2 Questions? Contact stop by TSC 8 between 0 am and pm on a Tuesday or Thursday, or visit the EcoHunt registration table at the USU Earth Day Festival tabling event on April from 9 am - pm. Completed Challenge Example In order to earn points for each challenge, your team must post a photo of your team completing the challenge to Instagram with "EcoHunt07," your team name, and the challenge name hashtagged in the comments section of the photo, as in the following example: IMPORTANT: In addition to the hashtags, your team's Blue Goes Green bag must also be displayed in each photo. ***In this example, the challenge description is "Recycle an item in the one of the USU recycling blue bins." The challenge name is "#recyclechallenge." The team name of the students completing the challenge is "EcoHunt Team." In addition to these elements, you must also display your festival marker, which will be a reusable Blue Goes Green bag. Prize Packages There are three grand prize packages for the EcoHunt 07 competition. The team that scores the most points will have the first choice of prize package. The team that scores the second most points will have the second choice of prize package. The team that scores the third most points will have the third choice of prize package.
3 Winners of the EcoHunt 07 competition will be announced between April 5 and April 0. Prize Packages
