1 Cruise News PRESIDENT S MESSAGE January, marks the rejuvenation of our great Car Club as we rebuild. I personally want to thank each and every one of you who supported me and the Club through some tough times. It is truly you who make the Club what it is! I see this year as the time to mend relationships and get us back to having fun. I ve talked with a lot of you and the most popular sentence from all of you is that you just want to have fun again. Well let s do it!!!!! Just a reminder that I can t do that for you, we all have to do it together. I ve always said throughout the years that it is just a car club and it is not about the cars but about us. It s the cars that bring us all together. I want to thank Debra McDowell for the wonderful and persistent job she is doing with the Streak Committee as they are now coming together to bring you a better streak. I know she has read all your surveys and has taken every one of them very seriously as she brings the streak back on track with your wishes. By now, we have gotten through the Christmas Season and we need a car show. All of us use to go to Joe Free s Frosty Pepper Tree Show which no longer exists but he is having an Unofficial Show on January 13 th. It s that time of the year where we need to go through our rods and check it for any problems as well as tightening every bolt and nut to prepare for our car show season ahead. I am glad to be back and I have a lot of ideas to bring this club together and I will need your support, assistance and attendance. I believe you will be very happy where the club will be heading and I assure you this Board is dedicated to moving forward. How about you? Again thank you very much and I am flattered and honored to be your President once again!! Sincerely, Ralph Garcia
