7 Goal #1 - Housing Expansion Waterford Landing - Phase IV Brinley Place 40 homes valued at $6 Million 140 condominiums valued at $20 Million

8 #2 - Improve the Aesthetics of the Community Before After Removal of 21 blighted and uninhabitable residential structures 2 commercial structures Code Enforcement implements customer service model - prioritized 8 main thoroughfares; consisting of 420 homes 144 businesses 90 issues found 80% corrected without need for further action

9 #2 - Improve the Aesthetics of the Community Renewal of the Street Levy! Thanks to our voters for approving the Street Levy for an additional 10 years Improvements to major corridors like Colonel Glenn Highway Spangler Road Painted Rona Hills and Fairfield Park Water Towers Award Recipient

10 #3 - Improve the Building Department Permitting Process Process plan reviews in 10 business days Utilizing contract plan examiners when volumes are high for faster permitting Improve relations with developers and contractors through up front consulting. Implemented new iworq system which streamlines inspection process

11 #4 - Improve Overall Citizen/Customer Satisfaction Stay up on events through a new website link for smart phones and tablets Search and Apply online for City employment opportunities Created a No Solicitation ordinance for residents to opt-out of receiving door-todoor canvassers and vendors.

12 #5 - Strengthen Citizen Involvement Held Monthly Citizens Forums with City Council Average of 33 citizens per meeting Most discussed topics: Improve look of the area Property maintenance Road repair Local shopping/dining Recreation Talk to Your City through an online phone Ap to report anything from Abandoned Properties, potholes, street light outage, tall grass, and to check on the status of your permit application.

13 #5 - Strengthen Citizen Involvement Increased recreational program options; a 53% increase in participants from 2013 to 2014 Added Valle View Reserve to Fairborn Park System Received a $300,000 Capital Grant to construct new Fairfield Park entrance 1st Place Award for the Shared Facility/Partnership between WPAFB and the City from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association.

14 Special Recognition Award of Merit received for design and content of the City of Fairborn s website from the Public Relations Society of America. 25th year award from the Governor s Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for Excellence in Financial Reporting. 6th year Water Fluoridation Quality Award from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for maintaining optimally fluoridated water at a consistent level.

15 Our Future - Reimagine Fairborn The Fire and Police Equipment, Facilities, Staffing Levy will provide: (3) additional police officers (3) additional FF/paramedics proper equipment and facility maintenance Thank you voters for passing the levy to support safety services! Continue improving roadways Dayton-Yellow Springs Road Spangler Road Continue target code enforcement
