10 Motor Vehicle Collision Statistics Every day in Canada there are 8 deaths, 600 injuries, 1,600 crashes and $27,000,000 in costs to society due to motor vehicle collisions. Niagara has one of the highest number of fatal and serious injury MVC per capita in Ontario.

Community Improvement Plans and our Downtowns Renewed focus on Downtowns Use of Community Improvement Plans Waterfront Development Mary Reeves vision for the Old Humberstone Area of Port Colborne led her to establish a garden shop in a century home on Main Street. The Community Improvement Plan recently approved by the City of Port Colborne provides the mechanisms to realize positive change for the Main Street Gateway area, by enacting strategic policies and programs geared towards public and private investment.
