3 Your staff Miss Mainey Mr Dowson Miss Mackay There are 25 pupils on the trip and they will be split into 3 groups.

4 Day 1 Arrive at school for 5.45 am at Arnold bus stop Please do not park in the bus stop 1 suitcase/ sports bag to go under the coach- this will not be accessible until we arrive at Ypres Lodge 1 small rucksack/ backpack for on the coach to include: Packed lunch (x2) and drinks Any electronics you want Small purse including pounds and euros Any medication you require- labelled with name and dose. (handed to Miss Mainey ) Estimated arrival at Ypres Lodge 18.00

5 Day 2 We will be visiting: Vimy Ridge Newfoundland Park Maricourt and Albert Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate

6 Day 3 We will be visiting: Passchendale Memorial Museum Bellewaerde Theme Park Day 4 We will be visiting: Tyne Cot British Cemetery Langemark German Cemetey Estimated arrival back at school at Arnold bus stop

7 What you need: Clothing suitable for hot and cold weather Comfortable shoes for walking/old trainers Waterproof Towel Toiletries Suncream Hat Adaptors

8 Medical Information Please can you clearly label your child's medication with their name and specific requirements and hand this to Miss Mainey on the morning of Monday 26 th June 2017 We have travel insurance which will cover your child, but they must have EHIC incase they need any medical aid while away. I will also have the school mobile with me for emergencies and all staff will carry their mobile phones and emergency contact numbers for their assigned group. Medication

9 Some more info! If you want to take a phone I would encourage you to take care of it! Please ensure that they have some credit and are aware of data roaming charges. A small amount of spending money can be taken. No more than the equivalent of 50.The Belgian currency is the Euro. If you want to send your child with more than this can you please let me know. A small amount of sterling will be needed to buy dinner on the way home on Thursday and for stops on the way to the tunnel. Staff will run a bank everyday for if pupils do not wish to look after their own money.

10 Rules and Behaviour Normal school rules and expectations apply. Ambassadors for the school excellent behaviour at all times. Teachers will be loco-parentis. Rules and curfews must be obeyed. Respect for each other, the hotel and the locals damage to rooms will loose your deposits. While you will be accompanied by staff at all times, do not wander off on your own stay in pairs or threes. You will be in a foreign country beware of strangers. Do not go into other people s rooms, or let them into your room. No alcohol or smoking parents will be contacted and you will be sent home.

11 Portable Electronic Devices We are more than happy for you to take these on your trip! Please be aware however that staff and school takes no responsibility for these items and they are brought entirely at your child s own risk.

12 Our Hotel You will be assigned to a room with between 4-6 people per room. Be respectful and sensible around the hotel. Do not run around, do not go into other people s rooms and do not damage the rooms. Do not let anybody into your room. Staff rooms will be at the end of the corridor and identified to you when we check in should you need them. There is free WiFi available throughout Hotels

13 One last thing! Can passports and EHIC cards please be brought to me in a named envelope no later than Friday 16 th June 2017? These will be kept in a safe until the time of trip
