We will be picked up and taken to: 2.15pm Ice Cream Making Demonstration at Geleteria David. 4.15pm Expected arrival time at Hotel Mary Evening meal will be served time to be confirmed. Saturday 10 th February Breakfast served at the hotel time to be confirmed. Day visit to Capri by ferry timings TBC Students to buy their own lunch. Evening meal served at the hotel. Sunday 11 th February Breakfast served at the hotel time to be confirmed. 8am group to depart to arrive at Mount Vesuvius at approx 9.30am We will be walking to the crater so sensible footwear is a MUST! Also, it can be cold so warm clothing is also essential. Lunch students to buy own.

4 2pm Tour of Pompeii 6.30pm Evening meal served 7.30pm - Bowling Monday 12 th February Breakfast served at the hotel time to be confirmed. Free time in local area 1.00pm meet coach to depart to airport. 3.15pm Check in for flight 5.15pm Flight departs 7.10pm Land back at Stansted 11.30pm-Midnight Anticipated arrival back at TGS LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE Hand Luggage: One piece no bigger than 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm including the handle, pockets and wheels please check the EasyJet website for information on hand luggage. Checked Luggage: One piece not exceeding 20 kg The kit list below is recommended by the tour company that we are using, taking into account that the temperature range in February is between 5 C and 15 C: PASSPORT AND EHIC CARD MEDICATION MONEY STERLING AND EUROS Shoes with a sensible grip for walking Day pack/small rucksack Snacks Travel sickness bands/tablets (if required) Sensible clothing for walking, layers will be useful as the temperature range is quite large. Sunglasses Toiletries Medication Waterproof jacket Packed tea Thursday evening Currency The currency in Italy is the Euro.

5 CODE OF CONDUCT The fieldwork trip should be a positive, enjoyable and rewarding time. The following code of conduct is expected throughout the tour: No noisy and disruptive behaviour in the accommodation or on the flight Rooms to be kept clean and tidy. Be punctual at all times. Follow instructions at all times. No drinking alcohol, smoking, taking illegal substances etc. In circumstances when the code of conduct is broken, students may be withdrawn from the itinerary. In circumstances when a serious breach of the code of conduct has occurred and a student(s) cannot be trusted and puts the group in danger, parents will be informed and the student(s) will be put on the first available flight back to the UK and will need to be met at the UK airport by a parent. Parents are liable for any costs incurred. MEDICATION Students must take their own medication with them during the flight. Please label it clearly with the name, purpose and how often and when it is to be taken. If you suffer from travel sickness please take your medication in sufficient time for it to be effective during any journey. During the visit, in exceptional circumstances, I will provide paracetamol to students for pain relief. If you do not wish me to give your son/daughter paracetamol please let me know in writing before departure. CULTURE Visiting a different country is an exciting and rewarding experience. Students are expected to respect the different culture. MOBILE PHONES & VALUABLES If you have to bring anything of value (e.g. mobile phone, MP3 players etc.) please take extreme care of it. Students should not use mobile phones during specific times as instructed by the members of staff. Please ensure that you also know how to switch off roaming as charges incurred from regular /social network notifications can be extremely high. Students will be provided with details of the accommodation s address and telephone number as well as the emergency contact number for the visit in case of any problems when they are in small groups. Students will be put in groups linked to a particular member of staff; this will be put on their information card which they will be given on the day of departure. This is their first port of call with any problems and who they go to for key headcounts etc. PASSPORT and EHIC Card Do not forget your passport and EHIC Health Card.

6 HEALTH & SAFETY It is essential that students listen carefully to instructions. Information and instructions are given for the safety of everyone and must be adhered to at all times! For further travel advice please visit INSURANCE The students are covered under the tour company (NST) insurance. CONTACT WHILST ON TOUR I shall remind students to contact parents upon our arrival.
