2 Gaslight Playhouse's cast of "An Evening with Rodgers & Hammerstein" presented a 30 minute performance at the Taste of the Arts festival last month. The performance was held at the Art Museum. We want to thank the familiar faces in the audience! We are proud to be involved with a festival that celebrates the arts. Here is one of our behind the scenes designers hard at work! Kyle Leitch uses his talents of taking nothing and making it something super special for each show he does! He has used his design and build skills for the majority of the sets for Gaslight Playhouse, Inc. for a number of years now. Thank you, Kyle!

3 Jenna Boese has been involved in theatre since age 3. She has done productions through her church (First Church of God), East Noble Middle and High School, and Gaslight Playhouse, Inc. Some of her roles include Lucy in A Charlie Brown Christmas, Perdita in 101 Dalmatians, Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone, Betty Meeks in The Foreigner, Duchess in The Aristo Cats, Tansy McGinnis in The Nerd, Annelle Dupuy-Desoto in Steel Magnolias, Emma Cristano in Over the River and Through the Woods, Mary Smith in Run for Your Wife, and Aurora in The Spell of Sleeping Beauty. She currently attends Purdue University Fort Wayne and studies Communication Sciences and Disorders. She works at the local Strand Theatre. Jenna Boese Board Member We are excited to announce upcoming auditions for our Christmas performance! The president of Gaslight Playhouse, Kim McCutchan, will be making her Gaslight Playhouse directorial debut! Please be prepared to do a cold read. - Rehearsals will start October 29th. 4 2018 I was excited to nominate someone new for president of our awesome, growing organization. I had the pleasure of nominating board member, Kim McCutchan. I knew that she had the drive, excitement, and knowledge to take on the position. The board unanimously agreed with me. I have enjoyed the last year of helping our organization move forward. I know that Kim will take it even further. Although I am no longer the president, I am keeping a seat on the board and I will help in any way as a board member. Thank you all for your support. 5 Hello Gaslight friends! I wanted to take a minute to say that I am excited to have been elected President of Gaslight Playhouse, Inc. for this year. I am looking forward to a year of continued growth for the organization and support from the community as we put together our 2019 season. What shows would you like to see? Are you interested in directing, acting or helping backstage with YOUR community theatre! 2019 Presidential Posts Thank you to the cast of An Evening with Rodgers and Hammerstein for an excellent show and also performing a few weeks after the show closed at 'Taste of the Arts' in Fort Wayne. Next on the schedule is Wait Until Dark that will run for two (2) weekends in October. Don't miss this thrilling show directed by Bob Avery and Jo Drudge. We'll see you at the theatre! 6 We are very proud of our Board member, Lydia Tremaine! She is not only a truly wonderful person and arts advocate but she placed as a Top Preliminary Winner in Talent and in the Top 15 at Miss America 2019 this month! We are lucky to have her on our board helping us grow and become a better theatre program in our small town. Congratulations again Lydia!!
