We had some awesome food provided by Showthyme! As well as fun and fabulous prizes. A very special thank you to all of those that brought canned goods for the Bigfork Food bank.. Than you Bigfork Elves!! Wow! Another amazing decorating day under our belt. We delivered 8300 feet of garland to local businesses and then our Elves went to work! Our town is decked out in garland and lights and looks beautiful. Now it s time for a beautiful snowfall to put the icing on our Christmas village. At this time of year Bigfork residents show that it really does President s Letter Happy Holidays Everyone! Our little town looks so beautiful with all the hard work from the elves. Good job everyone and thank you!! There s a lot going on in the next four weeks, make sure you mark your calendars. First and foremost, THE PARADE! I hope you have your float ready! Also, Santa will be making many visits to Bigfork this month, I think he is worried about Mister Elf running amuck! As many of you know, we have been on the search for a new Executive Director. After a first set of interviews and continuing conversation about the true needs of the Bigfork Chamber, the Board decided to redefine this important position to a full-time job with an increase in compensation. In fact, the job often ends up being full time with numerous events, member and visitor inquiries, and other parts of the Chamber's work. With that decision in mind, the Board agreed to re-open the position under the redefined terms. We are almost through the process and we hope to announce the new Executive Director at our Annual Meeting on December 5th!
