2 About fabb-i-do weekends 2 We offer exciting and fun short breaks for young disabled people (aged 15-30) in a safe and supported environment. Our holidays are an experience that is stimulating, action packed and a great way to meet new friends! From Horse experiences to Valentines weekends, from biking to watersports, from crazy camping to movie-making, we offer numerous and varied weekends so we re sure to offer something you love. Weekends will be based at the Trossachs Tryst Lodge in Callander. Accommodation is booked exclusively for our group and is set within extensive, private grounds, with outside recreational space for games and al-fresco dining. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities with 2 rooms sleeping up to 4, 1 sleeping up to 6 and 2 very large rooms sleeping up to 8. There are spacious, comfortable public rooms so that everyone can eat or relax together. The lodge is located about 2km from the lovely tourist town of Callander with stunning views and cycle tracks on the doorstep. Breaks last from Friday evening until Sunday evening. This brochure is your guide to our weekends from April March 2017, allowing you to plan ahead and book in advance. Due to such high demand, we suggest you book early to avoid disappointment. 3 From thrilling to chilling April - June 2016 Horse Experience: 8 th -10 th April If you fancy yourself as a bit of a cowboy/girl then this is a neeeiiigh-brainer! Soak up the scenery on horseback with an exhilarating trek. Afterwards, learn how to pamper your equine friend. Relax with a classic Horse themed movie. Battle Royale: 22 nd -24 th April Battle it out with some fun at Laser Tag plus have a go at Archery Combat- a simpler & safer take on paintball. Teams battle each other in combat scenarios with games such as capture the flag, attack the base & barrel race! Stars In Your Eyes: 20 th -22 nd May Find your inner star, get creative and most importantly have some fun! Come on, join in and enjoy the weekend whether it be theatre, dance, drama or music! Summer Sizzler: 24 th -26 th June Let's get active with a weekend of watersports and outdoor adventure! Plus grill up a good time with a sizzling, smokey BBQ. A splashing weekend in the beautiful Trossachs National Park not to be missed! 3

4 July September 2016 Crazy Camping: 26 th -28 th July Join us for the ultimate camping experience! Get close to nature, learn how to pitch a tent, build a campfire & cook outdoors. Go on a night walk & gaze at the stars! If you prefer the comfort of a bed then you can always kip in the lodge. On Yer Bike: 19 th 21 st August Get energized with some Summer cycling. We have bikes for all needs and a range of cycle tracks for different ability levels. Science Lab: 16 th -18 th September It s time to get creative! Put your mind to the test and invent something unique. Try cool experiments and become a Science geek. It s a crazy weekend! Be challenged, get creative, try something new, make friends & have fun! 4

5 From frights to delights! October 2016 March 2017 Fabb Food: 14 th - 16 th October Grab your apron Chef, it s time to get cooking! Make a meal that Gordon Ramsey would be proud of. Create a range of tasty, homemade food plus some cocktails and smoothies too! Blazing Bonfire: 11 th - 13 th November Can you hold in the screams? A spooky weekend full of Halloween games & scares. Get dressed up for the Monster Ball. A chilling experience so make sure to get warmed up around our Blazing Bonfire! Christmas Cracker: 9 th - 11 th December We know how quickly Christmas can fly by, so why not make the most of it by celebrating with us! Enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner followed by some fun & laughs at our festive party! Take a peek at our first weekends of 2017 Fabb Academy Awards: 20 th - 22 nd January 2017 Celebrate Oscar season by making your own movie and awards show! Chill out with the latest film. Valentine s Weekend: 18 th - 20 th February 2017 For all the romantics Candle lit dinner, romantic comedies and relaxing spa treatments. Enjoy! Murder Mystery: March 2017 (Date TBC) Let the fun unfold! Arrive at the Cluedo themed Mansion to solve the murder mystery, test your problem solving skills and watch a thriller. 5
