IAIES -The Argentine Reserch Institute of Socil Economy, is scientific institution tht since its founding in 1966 hs developed its cdemic ctivities in the dissemintion nd promotion of the Socil Economy in different spects, ll of them oriented to the public good s first purpose. It is non-profit institution nd its ctions hve been primrily focused in the scientific reserch, in the dissemintion nd trining. It is lso, since 1966, the ARGENTINE SECTION OF THE CIRIEC INTERNATIONAL with hedqurters in Liege, Belgium, nd one of the oldest sections within tht institution of n interntionl chrcter. The volunteer tsk developed by its members in the vrious stges hs llowed the Institute IAIES remins vlid reference for those who understnd the solidrity system s wy of life tht includes the role of cretivity, democrcy nd freedom. About the IAIES ctivities, it is necessry to point out the production nd editing of the NOTEBOOKS OF SOCIAL ECONOMY (inspired by Les Annles) whose dissemintion is widely known in the scientific spect, in both the Ntionl nd Ltin Americn levels, s point of reference. These Notebooks were published for the first time in For the foregoing resons, it is worth noting tht the IAIES is the pioneering institution in the scientific nd technicl publictions of the Socil Economy in Argentin nd in severl other countries of Americ.
