2 Worshipful Master Quinton R. Holoway Fraternal Greetings, First giving honor and praise to the Grand Architect of the Universe for the many blessings he has bestowed upon the Misawa community. The 3 rd Masonic quarter has been very eventful for the country of Japan. The catastrophic earthquake that took place on March 11, 2011 has completely changed the social structure of several communities. This the perfect time for us being the Upright Men In Masonry that we all should strive to be to practice charity. Several members of the lodge have put forth individual efforts and assisted with the relief efforts and clean up of the damaged communities. We currently have several endeavors as a Misawa Masonic PHAmily planned to contribute -- not for praise or accolades, but strictly because we have been charged as Masons to make every attempt to Do Good Unto All. In February, we had the pleasure of hosting the 2011 District No. 6 session in Misawa for the first time in the history of the district. It was a stellar event and an excellent time for the members of the district to intermingle and fellowship with each other. On behalf of the membership of this lodge, we will continue to spread the cement of brotherly love and affection which unites us and strive to help aid and assist our community to the maximum extent possible. 3 Over four dozen donuts and coffees were donated to approximately 20 on-duty Security Forces and Civilian Guard personnel. The brothers of O Misawa delivered hot coffee and fresh donuts to the keepers of the gate at Misawa AB in early January.

Last year, O Misawa Lodge No. 54 was recognized as one of the ten top contributors for the base towards this endeavor. O Misawa held a Bowl-a-thon fundraiser on the 15 th of January at the Walmsley Bowling Center. Proceeds for the event will support local scholarships and youth sports. A PHAmily day was also held in conjunction with the fundraiser.

5 The brothers of Aomori Lodge No.10, of the Grand Lodge of Japan, extended an invite to O Misawa to attend their Annual Installation of Officers. The friendship and brotherly love between our lodges has become more fruitful as we support one another. Pictured below are MWPGM Joedie Poole, Grand Lodge of Japan, and WM Quinton Holoway. MWPGM Poole participated in the installation ceremony.

6 The 3 rd Quarter District Six Session was held in Misawa Japan. This is the first time that O Misawa Lodge No.54 has hosted the event. Despite the harsh winter conditions that are normal for Misawa this time of year, the weather was beautiful and the event was a huge success.

7 RW Alex L. Pratt, District Deputy Grand Master presided over the session accompanied in the east by WM Tara Richardson & WP Quinton Holoway of Rising Sun Chapter No. 29 and WM Tysha Tolfree & WP Chris Black of Sakura Chapter No. 28. The District PHAmily takes time for lunch in the lodge. The OES members receive escorts from the District brothers.

10 RW Alex L. Pratt opens the banquet by cutting the cake. Assisting him are WP Christopher Black and WM Tysha Tolefree from Sakura Chapter No. 28, WM Tara Richardson of Rising Star Chapter No.29, and WM Quinton Holoway of the host lodge, O Misawa. Entered Apprentices Griffin, Reese and Hughes helped, aided and assisted all representatives who attended the District Session.

11 RW Ramondo Morris assisted RW DDGM Alex Pratt in a training session on the final day of the District Session. Topics of discussion were lodge protocol, instruction in lodge by-laws, and masonic etiquette. A final farewell photo shows all the members of the District Six PHAmily after brunch at the Misawa Collocated Club.
