Box 61109, Palm Bay, FL Palm Bay Lodge meets at our Lodge Room, 4430 US Highway 1, Unit 4, (Located 1 block south of Palm Bay Road on US 1) Meetings start at 7:30 pm on the 1 st and 3 rd Tuesdays. Come at 6:30 and you ll get fed. It is with regret that we record the passing of Brother Jerry Alan Luz Born April 15, 1947 Initiated 7 April 1997, Mercer Lodge #50, Trenton, NJ Passed 14 May 1997, Mercer Lodge #50, Raised 11 June 1997, Mercer Lodge #50, Dual Member, Palm Bay # Jan 2016 Junior Warden, Palm Bay #397, 2017 Senior Warden, Palm Bay #397, 2018 Passed to the Celestial Lodge Above November 8, 2018 Alas, My Brother 1
2 FROM THE EAST Brethren, It still seems like just yesterday that we started building our new lodge following the water disaster and the passing of Worshipful Key, and here we are into our 3 rd year of a 5 year lease already. It seems like my year as Master is still just beginning but alas, it is drawing to a conclusion and there is still so much to be accomplished. Our year has been fraught with losses of distinguished Brothers who have made that final journey to be with the Grand Master of the Universe and their losses will adversely impact our Lodge and its progress, as well as our missing their participation and support, and most of all, their fellowship. We are very fortunate that we have several new Masons in the making and I hope everyone will join in making their journey into Masonry a successful and rewarding one. In addition to our Fund Raisers, we also need to concentrate on Membership Raising as we still need active members to continue our existence as a Lodge. Finally brethren and families, I wish for you all a Happy and Safe Christmas and New Year and when the opportunity arises, please remember those who are less fortunate and make their holidays a little happier. And as the old Cliché says, Remember the reason for the Season God bless and keep you all. Tom Johnson, Worshipful Master ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FROM THE SOUTH My Brothers; We ve almost made it to the end of the year! It s been a tough one on our members. Don t forget our widows this Christmas season. On a happier note, we ve got two new Brothers started on the Degrees. Also congratulations to FC Brother Roland Nowell; he has proved himself proficient and will be raised soon. Also we want to welcome our newly affiliated Brother Jeff White. Glad to have you with us, Jeff. Tickets and flyers are now available for our 2019 Trap Shoot. Chances are improved this year. We now have four guns to give away. Ticket prices remain the same, and I ve got a couple more shotguns to loan. As always, tickets are available on the day. You can buy as many chances as you want. This is our biggest fund-raiser of the year, so please show your support of our Lodge by selling your share of tickets. 2
