Welcome to EMSO ERIC All Regions Workshop The European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and water-column Observatory European Research In-frastructure Consortium (EMSO ERIC, is a distributed network of marine ob-servatories serving science researchers, marine technology engineers, policy makers, and the public. The monitored variables address natural hazards, climate change, and marine ecosys-tems. EMSO observatories have been deployed at key sites around Europe, from the Arctic to the Atlantic, through the Mediterranean, to the Black Sea, from polar to subtropical environ-ments, through the water column down to the abyss. These sites provide (near-)real-time, in-teractive ocean observations across a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary range of research areas including biology, geology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and computer science. EMSO not only brings together countries and disciplines but also aims at pooling resources and coor-dinating to assemble harmonised data into a comprehensive ocean picture, which will be made available to researchers and stakeholders worldwide on an open and interoperable access ba-sis. This conference will bring together members of the marine science and industry community to exchange information and best practices related to the advances of the EMSO objectives. It will serve a double purpose: further the coordination and efficiency of the teams already in-volved in EMSO activities, and attract new participants, to pave the way for the involvement of new countries, new observatory sites and scientific disciplines. The Event will include: An overview of the existing, expected and potential EMSO ERIC nodes. A state-of-the-art of sub-sea observatories design and operation. An exchange of know-how and practices with EMSO ERIC counterparts outside Europe to align strategies and encourage new developments promoting a global dimension. A bottom-up discussion on access and services required by the scientific community and the industrial sector and on training needs of operators and of the users of online observatory da-ta. 3.

You can purchase your ticket at the ticket office, on board the bus and buy tickets online on Terravision. Sit Bus Shuttle. The stop Leonardo da Vinci is outside the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, just after the pedestrian crossing in the direction of the autobus. Tickets can be purchased on the bus. Visit Taxi.
