1 SEMINAR REGISTRATION / HOTEL INFORMATION August 1-4, 2018 HOTEL ROOM RATES - book online after registering Renaissance Dallas Hotel - Dallas Market Center *Room rates DO NOT include applicable taxes 2222 North Stemmons Freeway - $ per night - (1 King Bed, 1-2 Guests) Dallas, TX $ per night - (2 Queen Beds, 2-4 Guests) Distance to/from Dallas Convention Ctr: 3.33 miles DATES & DEADLINES APRIL 30 th Priority Registration opens for all IBC JULY 1 st Deadline to register for Seminar or cancel your Seminar Registration Deadline to book hotel or make changes to your hotel reservation via MK InT ouch JULY 2 nd Mary Kay will begin sending hotel reservations to the hotels. If you need to change, cancel or book a new reservation after the hotel deadline, contact the hotel directly as Mary Kay Housing will no longer have access to your hotel reservation or hotel inventory. Please wait 5 to 7 business days after the hotel deadline date before contacting the hotel to allow time for the hotel to load the reservations in their system and charge the nonrefundable deposit to the primary credit card on the reservation. $100 Non-refundable Deposit at Time of Hotel Booking Mary Kay has instituted a $100 non-refundable deposit that will be collected at the time of booking a hotel reservation on Mary Kay InTouch. The hotel will post the $100 non-refundable deposit to the reservation, and the remaining balance is payable at check-in. Please note it is at the hotel s discretion whether or not split credit card payments can be accepted for the balance due upon check-in. In the event you cancel your reservation after the deadline, fail to check in on the scheduled arrival date or no show your reservation, the $100 nonrefundable deposit is forfeited, and the hotel will collect the difference between the $100 nonrefundable deposit and one night s room and tax. NOTE: If you have an existing sleeping room reservation booked through InTouch and only wish to make a change prior to July 2 nd, please do NOT cancel the reservation! Use the Change/Modify feature instead. How to Book a Room How to book a sleeping room on Mary Kay InTouch for Seminar once registration and housing opens. Contact your roommate(s): Designate who will be the room captain. The room captain will be responsible for booking the hotel reservation on Mary Kay InTouch, as well as adding guest or roommate names to the reservation. Roommates DO NOT book a sleeping room. The designated room captain will log on to Mary Kay InTouch, register for Seminar, go to the registration confirmation page and follow this path: Events > Online Event Registration > Hotel > Make Reservation > select Check-In and -Out dates > Occupancy > SEARCH. Select a hotel bed type, and continue the reservation process. Only one hotel reservation per room captain. Roommates should not be booked in more than one room. Room occupancy: Single: One person in the room the room captain Double: Two people in the room the room captain and one roommate Triple: Three people in the room the room captain and two roommates Quad: Four people in the room the room captain and three roommates

Griffin St. Dallas, TX :00am 5:00pm: Packet Pick-up available (Hall D) Mary Kay Expo / MK Connections (Hall D) 9:30am 3:00pm *City Girls & Pearls, Prize Party (* by Invitation only) Come & Go Event held in Ballroom D 10:00am 3:00pm MK Building Tour (Bus Service from Lower AB Lobby departing every 30 minutes 10am. The last bus will depart the Conv 2pm) 7:00 10:00pm: Moore Area Awards Dinner (@ Renaissance Hotel room TBA) *We will alert everyone of the exact room location once we are made aware. Thursday, August 2 nd > SEMINAR BEGINS! 3 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS CONT D Friday, August 3 rd Breakfast: Not provided 8:30 11:30am: Business Development Classes (Refer to your packet and/or the MK Events app for specific locations) Immediately Following Classes: o Box Lunch Handout (in Hall C) 1:45 2:45pm: Royalty Reception* (by Invitation only Ballroom C) 3:00 7:30pm: Awards Show (Hall of Dreams) o NOTE ---> Dinner will be on your own (unless otherwise notified during awards night.) Saturday, August 4 th 8:00am 1:00pm: You will need to have checked out of your hotel room by 10am prior to the Closing general session that morning. For your convenience, you may store your luggage in LOWER LOBBY A/B of the convention center. J 9:30am Noon: Closing General Session (Hall of Dreams) MISCELLANEOUS INFO: Please refer to the SEMINAR CHECKLIST & the attached for Dress Code Information. Additional dress code information is available on your InTouch website: Events > Special Events > Seminar 2018 > look for the Dress Code tab on main page (near the bottom). To gain entry into the Hall of Dreams for the opening general session, you must pick up your registration packet/name badge at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center prior to Thursday morning at 8:15am. Read through everything in your packet! It is full of very important information you cannot afford to miss! Keep the packet with you at all times! Name badges are your ticket to attend everything If you do not have it, you do not get in! It will cost you $50.00 to get a replacement badge (Hall D). However, the fee will not be charged if both badges are presented to the Registration booth before the end of the event. Free, continuous bus service to/from the Convention Center is available only to those who booked their hotel within the Mary Kay room block. Guests staying at hotel properties not on the list of Mary Kay-contracted hotels will not be able to board the bus. --- cont d on next page ---

4 MISCELLANEOUS INFO Cont d Bus Service cont d ---- Lobby Signs: Look for bus signs in the MK-contracted hotel lobbies for the map with bus boarding locations and bus schedules to the convention center. Mary Kay Events App: Refer to the Mary Kay Events App for the bus schedule. It s available for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Taxi s are also readily available, but can become costly. I do not recommend taking a car because everywhere you go, you have to pay for parking and it s not cheap AND wait in line for the parking! Sharing a taxi with a group is your best bet if you re in a hurry or do not want to wait in line for the bus in the heat. Keep lots of $1.00 bills with you to make paying your share fast and easy. Plan on being early to everything. EVERYTHING starts right on-time! BUS SERVICE TO DFW & LOVE FIELD AIRPORTS If you are flying in to the DFW area, you can purchase tickets for bus service to DFW and Love Field Airports at the Airport Shuttle Bus booth located in the Upper Lobby D of the Convention Center. The booth is open daily during Seminar hours. Boarding location ---> Lower A/B Lobby.

SPENDING MONEY FOR SNACKS & MEALS THAT ARE NOT PRE-PAID $1 bills for tip money $2 minimum for sky cap ($1 per bag), bellman, or others handling your luggage CREDIT / DEBIT CARD FOR HOTEL ROOM: You may pay cash upon checkout, but you do need a card for them to take an imprint upon check-in MARY KAY PINS (no more than 3 please.too many pins looks tacky, not professional) NOTEPADS & PENS CAMERA, PHONE, etc. CRACKERS & SNACKS FOR YOUR ROOM (breakfast bars are good) MAKE-UP / TOILETRIES / JEWELRY EXTRA PANTYHOSE COMFORTABLE SHOES (make sure they are broken in you will be walking a LOT!) JACKET OR SWEATER (most facilities maintain cooler temperatures to allow for the comfort of large crowds & it can get chilly!) A TOTEBAG to carry things around with you (you never know if you might see something you the Expo!) NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CONVENTION CENTER Mary Kay (herself) requested that we not drink alcoholic beverages Seminar. This is a business meeting, and we are representing the company and Mary Kay Ash everywhere we go. *PROFESSIONAL DRESS DURING SEMINAR NO PANTS TO ANY MARY KAY EVENTS. *If you are not currently in a Red Jacket or beyond, please know that you can wear any professional skirted outfit (dress, skirt & blouse, etc.).
