13 COMMUNITY CORNER Cheers & Jeers, Birthdays & Anniversaries Cheers I ve been working up the Kootenay quite a bit preparing for the new Kootenay West Mine. As I drive I usually listen to the news. Every day it seems that some reporter is telling me how bad the world is, and how rotten people are. Imagine my delight then when two gentlemen from Canal Flats proved those reporters wrong by returning my work bin and all my belongings after it blew out of my work truck. These guys actually waited at the bottom of the Kootenay FSR in the morning to flag down one of our trucks (luckily it was mine) so they could return my gear. A big thank you to Todd Rotvold and Walter Damian from Band Camp for returning my gear and a second thank you to Steve of Steve s place for leaving the door open to his house so I could come in pick up my bin. Cheers to Nancy Roy for calling Bingo on Monday night, and Karen for organizing Bingo every 2nd Monday night!
