1 Colorado Springs Director s Choice Scholastic Music Festival Trip Itinerary General Information Directors Mr. Hillock, Mr. Gartner, Mr. Stevenson Chaperones Greg Davis, Don Vash, Mike Lanigan, Michael Thomas, Raymond Sierra, Denise Davis, Gene Ann Kerr, Oneilly Rodriguez Students will be required to wear Travel Shirt on Friday. Make sure to include travel shirt with other packed items. Wednesday, April 25 th 5:00 AM Band Room Unlocked, Medicine Check In Students that have medicine report to band room at this time. A room outside of the main band room will be used for medicine check in. All medicine has to be in the original container with the prescription easy to read. Students that have more than one item should place all medicine in a zip-lock bag with name clearly written on the outside. 5:30 AM Student Check In Students will have to check in with Mr. Hillock and verify that they are here and ready to go. 5:45 AM Buses Arrives 6:00 AM Load Buses and Van Campus police recommends that you have someone bring you to the band room. If you have to leave your vehicle here, it needs to be parked in the Music Building parking lot. Do not leave anything of value in your vehicle and give further cause for break in or theft. Bus Information Concert Attire is to be stored in the front storage bays, suitcases in the middle storage bays, and instruments in the back storage bays of each bus. Smaller specialty items (such as mutes, etc.) will also be stored in the back storage bays with instruments. Special care should be taken when packing and loading these items so they do not become damaged at any time during the trip. Percussion students make sure and load everything that we need for our performance with cases.
