3 is an arterial Road which links Wollongong with the Hume Highway. The project comprised the realignment of two curves in a 2.7 kilometre section of the road, widening sections of the existing pavement/shoulder, extending culverts and the installation of new large box culverts, a concrete median barrier along involved the realignment of over 3.5 kilometres of the existing Princess Highway through steep terrain. The Project was a RMS project and all works were carried out in accordance with standard RMS specifications and requirements. This project was build under full RMS specifications and included a large RCBC system, bebo arches, drilling and blasting of 45,000m³, with tie ins built under traffic of 5,000 vehic nt of the dual carriageway highway for approximately 5km. Contract for bulk earthworks of 500,000m³, including 30,000m³ of blasting, select fill, topsoil, drainage blankets and bridging layers all to RMS standards for the construction of 6km. All works undertaken under strict traffic control

4 of the Gungahlin Drive from Barton Highway to Glenloch Interchange for 8km. This project involved removal and stockpile of topsoil 62,000m³, general earthworks 1.25M m³, removal off site of 143,000m³ and placement of select material - 53,000m³. This project also included the blast
