3 about us Ornatec International Consultancy (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was established by Directors, James and Barbara McGeoch in 2016 to provide a wide range of advisory services to integrated theme parks, urban developments, nursery construction and management, golf courses and sports fields and importing food products into China. The Directors, have over 48 years in the horticultural and agricultural industries including 28 years exporting experience. Their Australian company, Birkdale Nursery was recognized for its high quality horticultural products and export services throughout Asia, the Middle East and Europe. (Australia) James brings over 48 years horticultural/agricultural and 28 years exporting experience to the company. From , he was the Managing Director of McGeoch s Birkdale Nursery (Australia) which operated a nursery well known for its high quality horticultural products and export services throughout Asia, the Middle East and Europe. The Nursery was the first in Australia to receive quality assurance certification in 1995 and was a leader in the Australian horticultural industry. Along with Darren Moseley, James established Birkdale International in 2005 in Hong Kong, China and Macau and recently sold his interests to Darren, so that he could focus on the development of Ornatec International Consultancy (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Barbara McGeoch Director, Ornatec International Consultancy (Beijing) Co., Ltd.; Director, McGeoch s Birkdale Nursery Pty Ltd (Australia); General Manager, Emaho Trees (Australia) Over 25 years, Barbara has worked with James in developing the company s export business and built a global network of suppliers to ensure that the demanding and diverse requirements of clients throughout Asia and the Middle East are met. In 2002, she was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by Femmes Chefs d Enterprises Mondials at their International Congress in St. Petersburg. In 1999, she received the prestigious Westpac/Australian Institute of Export Heroes Award for outstanding service to Australia s export efforts. Currently, she is a Director of the Export Council of Australia which advocates and promotes Australian exports and raises the awareness of the importance of exporting to Australia s economy. 4

Over 15 years, David has worked as a lawyer and entrepreneur in foreign direct investment, finance, mergers and acquisitions, international commerce, foreign investment and security service businesses including acting as an editor for CUEB Press since He graduated from the Law School of Renmin University in Beijing in 1998 with his Masters Degree in Law and passed the Bar Examination in In 2005, he graduated from the Business School, Dominican University in Chicago with an MBA degree in finance. David s involvement in landscaping commenced in 2014, working for some of the most prestigious projects in Beijing. Yijia (Lulu) Wu Public Relations and International Trade Facilitator; Ornatec International Consultancy (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Lulu studied in Melbourne, Australia for seven years and graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor Degree in Public Relations, Bilingual Translation and Interpretation. She also received the NATTI certificate (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) in her specialized field. Her strong people skills, understanding of the processes involved in international trade and proactive manner, have resulted in her achieving strong connections with both Chinese and Australian businesses to develop international trade, particularly in the areas of horticulture and food production.
