8 Keynote Speakers Alan Cransberg - Managing Director Alcoa Australia Appointed Managing Director, Alcoa of Australia in February 2008, Alan is accountable for Alcoa s mining, refining and smelting interests in the Australian region. In addition, he is responsible for best practice knowledge sharing and equipment/technology development for Alcoa s global refining and mining system. Alan has led community employment initiatives in the Peel Region in Western Australia and been on various advisory committees focused on jobs development in Australia and the US. In April 2008 he joined the board of the West Coast Eagles, and subsequently accepted board positions with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM), the WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and the Black Swan State Theatre Company. He is a Counsellor for ABAF (Australian Business Arts Foundation). Peter De Leo Managing Director Lycopodium Minerals Pty Ltd Peter is a Civil Engineer with 22 years experience within the construction and engineering industries. Peter possesses strong management and project implementation skills and has been responsible for the successful delivery of many of Lycopodium s pioneering and large scale projects. A Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia, Peter maintains an active involvement with industry associations and tertiary education institutions both as a representative of the organisation and of industry.

9 Keynote Speakers Neil Hamilton Chairman Oz Minerals Mr Hamilton was appointed a Director of OZ Minerals in February 2010 and was appointed the Chairman in April Mr Hamilton is an experienced professional Company Director and Chairman. He has more than 26 years in the legal profession and in business with substantial experience in a number of industries including investment/funds management, insurance, banking and resources. Formerly Chairman of Challenge Bank Limited, Western Power Corporation, IRESS Market Technology Ltd, Mount Gibson Iron Ltd and Northern Iron Limited and was a Director of Insurance Australia Group Limited. Mr Hamilton is also a Senior Advisor to UBS (Perth office) as well as being Chairman of Miclyn Express Offshore Limited and a Director of Metcash Limited. John Anderson Vice President WA Santos John Anderson is responsible for Santos activities in Western Australia and Northern Territory, including commercial and finance, business development, exploration, development and operated assets. John joined Santos in 1996 as Corporate Counsel for the former Queensland Northern Territory Business Unit after 10 years as a solicitor with Freehills. He has held a range of roles at Santos including Manager Legal and Business Services, Group Executive Business Development, Vice President Strategic Projects and most recently Vice President Commercial.
