3 China-South Asia Exposition The China-South Asia Exposition grew out of the South Asian Countries Trade Fair, which took place for 5 consecutive years. Thanks to the success and deve lomnet of the past several years, with an increasingly large scale, the South Asian Countries Trade Fair played a significant role in promoting economic and commercial exchanges between China and South Asian countries. In October 2012, responding to changing circumstances, the State Council of the People's Republic of China approved an upgrade from the South Asian Countries Trade Fair to the China-South Asia Exposition. The Exposition is to be held in, China. China Import & Export Fair China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is held biannually in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, with a history of 57 years since The Fair is a comprehensive one with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China. Canton Fair attracts more than 24,000 China's best foreign trade companies with good credibility and sound financial capabilities, and 500 overseas companies to participate in the Fair. Canton Fair is a platform for import and export mainly, with various and flexible patterns of trade. Beside traditional way of negotiating against samples, the Fair holds Canton Fair Online. Various types of business activities such as economic and technical cooperations and exchanges, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consultation, etc, are also carried out in flexible ways. Business people from all over the world are gathering in Guangzhou, exchanging business information and developing friendship. Introduction, the capital of Yunnan province, is the center of Yunnan's politics, economy and culture. Located in the east of the province, is the province's largest economy. In 2012, the city realized GDP of RMB billion, up 14.1% year on year. It accounted for approximately 29.2% of the province's total.
