We pride ourselves on the high quality of our work and our long-standing relationships with clients. Communication between Site and Office is our key priority. Targeted work includes both new build and refurbishment. We have working experience in hotels, housing, apartments/flats, offices, retail stores, supermarkets, schools and colleges, government buildings, hospitals and laboratories. THE WORK WE ARE LOOKING FOR: WORKS PACKAGE - Carpentry & Joinery, Sub-Flooring, Site Hoardings, Dry Lining, External Cladding and all types of finished hardwood or engineered timber flooring. 4 HOTELS THE GROVE HOTEL The Grove is a 5 star country hotel, club and spa where we carried out the refurbuishment to the existing house and the fit out of the new wing, including banqueting hall and bedrooms. We have successfully carried out various elements of carpentry and joinery work on hotel projects, both internally and externally, since our inception in The Athenaeum Hotel, Piccadilly, London, SW1 ATHENAEUM HOTEL Upgrade and refurbishment of various floors while the hotel was still open for business. 04

8 GOVERNMENT Wellington Barracks, London, SW1E Wellington barracks is the largest refurbishment contract carried out by this company, lasting approximately 2.5 years on site with in excess of 120 tradesmen deployed on site. Lunar House, which consisted of 20 floors was stripped back its shell and fitted out for the immigration service. we carried out all carpentry and joinery fit out work throughout the refurbished building. 10 MANAGEMENT TEAM THE RK JOINERY CORE MANAGEMENT TEAM : MR RANJIT SINGH OBE Founder of the group. Started his career as an electrical engineer in the 1960 s, formed a carpentry & joinery subcontracting company in 1974, also became a developer in the 1980 s, and the rest is history! MR INDERPAL MATHARU BSc (Hons) MRICS Previously worked as a PQS in the city for 6 years, as a CQS for a national contractor and then as a QS for a major house builder. He joined the family business in 2002 and is now the Surveying Director for the Group. He is also involved with the speculative development and property investment side of the business. MR DAVINDER MATHARU BA (Hons), MSc Comes with a business management background and joined the family business in Is responsible for all health and safety documentation and maintaining our presence on main contractor s supply chains. He runs the maintenance contracts of the business and is also involved with the speculative development and property investment of the business. MR KIRNJIT BHOGAL CEng Has been with us since As Contruction Director he oversees the running of all projects within the Group. He is a key person ensuring that all project foreman and tradesmen adhere to the standards that are consistent with our Vision Statement. MR GRAHAM LINES Has over 35 years experience in the industry working both as an estimator, surveyor and buyer. He is our surveyor and has a wealth of experience working for both main contractors and sub-contractors. MR ROBERT FRANKHAM C&G HND Has been with us since 1981 and has nearly 50 years experience in the industry. He is our senior estimator and assists in resolving design issues with a particular interest in joinery. MS SONIA BAHIA BA (Hons) Our full-time PA. Responsible for all secretarial/administration tasks together with maintaining client contact, pursuing new leads and ordering for all on-going projects. MR IAN LOVELOCK Has over 25 years experience in the industry both as an estimator and estimator/buyer working for main contractors and sub-contractors. His background is Interior refurbishment/fit-out and Shopfitting. MRS DIANA GARLEA Our full time accounts clerk. Responsible for all accounts related matters, payroll and project forecasting. 10
