11 Page 4 FILMING NOTICE August 9, 2017 Dear Neighbours of The Vancouver Convention Centre, will be filming scenes at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Monday, August 14 th from approximately 7:00am until 9:00pm. The majority of our filming takes place inside the Convention Centre, however we have one scene that we will be filming between approximately 7:00am and 11:30am that involves a motorcycle riding from the west plaza of the Convention Centre onto Canada Place. For this we will have members of the Vancouver Police Department with us to assist with safety and intermittent traffic control on Canada Place and in the 200 blk of Thurlow Street. For our interior work we will have a lighting truck parked on Canada Place in order to light through the windows of the Convention Centre. For this, we will be doing intermittent single lane alternating traffic control within the 1000 block of Canada Place from 7:00am until approximately 8:00pm. Parking garages on Canada Place will remain accessible during this time, although short delays may be expected. On the filming days, our crew parking, and production support vehicles will be parked outside of the area. However, to accommodate our lighting vehicle, the City of Vancouver will be posting temporary no stopping signs for the following times and areas: Monday, August 14 th from 7:00am until 10:00pm: South side of the 1000 blk Canada Place between Thurlow St. and Burrard St. East and west sides of the 200 blk Thurlow St. from Canada Place to W. Cordova North side of the 1000 blk W Cordova from the Fairmont Pacific Rim driveway, east 6 metered parking spaces (to replace displaced Taxi parking on Canada Place) Monday, August 14 th from 7:00am until 1:00pm: East and west sides of the 200 blk Thurlow St. from Canada Place to W. Cordova If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. You may call our office at or you can talk to the Assistant Locations Manager Bob McQuarrie on set.
