4 MEET OUR TEAM MEET THE TEAM Our Business Events team, led by Melissa Couch, will book your event at Heritage Queenstown. We complete all the contracting and coordinating you require for your booking. Your Event Coordinator will discuss venue options, menu selection, audio visual equipment needs and develop your event run-sheet. During the course of the event your coordinator will ensure that the transition between each phase of your event runs with ease. The Banquet team is led by Alexandra Lemken and the Chef team, who will provide all your meals during your break out sessions. Our Food & Beverage Attendants will greet you in the morning, reconfirm details for the day, provide you with the Health & Safety brief and be on hand throughout the course of your event. This team will also re-set your room during the breaks and are always on hand to help you with your event. This feeling inspires the service, ambience and cuisine at Mackenzies Restaurant, a Queenstown Restaurant and Bar, where intimate dining is complemented by glowing fires in the winter, and summer offers al fresco fare on the expanse balconies. 5 THE QUEENSTOWN REGION Queenstown is a growing alpine resort town set alongside the shores of Lake Wakatipu, a destination for world-class skiing on any number of fields during the winter months, and picture postcard views any time of the year. The village atmosphere of the town with its roaring fires, outstanding cuisine and varied nightlife, belies a town that is packed with adventure too. Take a jet boat ride on the Shotover river, go white water rafting, jump off a bridge (with a bungy attached of course), or take a day trip to Wanaka or Arrowtown and sample the best of local wine and fresh produce. Then return to relax in the luxury of your room. GETTING HERE is to the west of Queenstown s CBD at Fernhill, just a scenic 10 minute walk to town or 3 minute drive. It s 20 minutes from Queenstown Airport during the day. We are able to arrange pick-ups and drop-offs to the airport with our preferred taxis, airport transfer or coaches suppliers.
