3 izb 2016 informationbooklet 3 THE INTERNATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE CONGRESS MOBILITY GOES DIGITAL The International Automotive Congress Mobility Goes Digital. A tradition of the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) is that a congress takes place prior to the first day of the trade fair. The International Automotive Congress Mobility Goes Digital, which forms the prelude to the IZB 2016, will take place on 17 th October When it comes to cars, digitalisation has already made an impact, introducing features such as driver assistance systems, smartphone integration and lane change assistant. To maintain their competitive edge in the future, automotive manufacturers and suppliers need to tackle the transformation taking place in the industry and set up new processes in order to keep up with the rapid speed at which companies in other industries, for example Google and Apple, are currently producing innovations. At the International Automotive Congress, you can be inspired by experts from Volkswagen, Audi, Scania, Bosch, MHP-A Porsche Company, ITConcepts, HERE and many more who will shine a spotlight on innovative approaches towards artificial intelligence, intelligent mobility and autonomous driving. In a nutshell, the congress will feature talks on the digital revolution of the automotive industry. The first IZB took place in 2001 and has developed into Europe's leading trade fair for automotive supplier companies over the past fifteen years. To mark this special milestone, we will be organising a reception celebrating "15 Years of the IZB" which will take place at the MobileLifeCampus in Wolfsburg on Monday, 17 th October Admission to the reception will start at 6pm. During the official part of the evening, which will begin at 7pm, the approx. 500 invited guests will be welcomed by, among others, representatives of the patrons from the German Land of Lower Saxony, the city of Wolfsburg and Volkswagen AG. Following the welcome address, the IZB 2016 will be opened ceremoniously and officially by the IZB patrons. During the subsequent reception, guests will have the opportunity to establish contacts and enjoy interesting discussions. Venue: MobileLifeCampus Event date: 17 th October 2016 Event start: Event end: Parking: 7pm (admission from 6pm) approx. 9:30pm Please park your vehicle in the Wolfsburg AG multi-storey car park on Major-Hirst-Strasse 11, Wolfsburg, located directly opposite the MobileLifeCampus. Parking in this car park will be free of charge from 5:30pm onwards on the evening of the event. A shuttle service will then take you directly from the car park to the MobileLifeCampus and back. Please note that for organisational and security-related reasons, it was essential that you confirmed that you would be attending the reception in the run-up to the event. The name tag sent to you also serves as admission ticket to the reception. Registration is no longer possible!

Wolfsburg AG is yet again hosting the Job Fair during the IZB, which brings over 800 German and international exhibitors from the automotive industry together with students, graduates and young professionals. Alongside internship placements and career entry opportunities, the main topics of discussion at the Job Fair in recent years have been the preparation of application documents and career and future education opportunities at the participating companies Take advantage of the IZB Job Fair on 20 th October 2016 and receive first-hand information on current job offers on the Online Job Wall on the IZB website and on the Job Wall in Hall 1 of the IZB between 18 th and 20 th October 2016 or publish your job advertisement on these walls. Companies not exhibiting at the trade fair can also book space in order to display their job advertisements. Card payment is only possible at the ticket desks (at the east entrance and main entrance). Additional exhibitor passes can be purchased from the main information stand (Hall 1/2). Exhibitor survey: First Aid: An exhibitor survey will be carried out as part of the IZB 2016! 15 izb 2016 informationbooklet 15 WOLFSBURG ALLERPARK Shuttle bus: On all three IZB days there will be free shuttle buses running between Wolfsburg Central Station and the Volkswagen Factory to the exhibition grounds in the Wolfsburg Allerpark. The shuttle bus from and to the Volkswagen factory is only available to Volkswagen AG employees, who must present their factory ID card. The buses will stop at the signposted bus stops. Your free complimentary copies of the Trade Fair Catalogue will be brought to your stand on 17 th October during the day. Further catalogues can be purchased at the ticket desks for a price of 15 Euros per catalogue. Wi-Fi: Wolfsburg Tourist Board: During the trade fair a WLAN network will be present in the exhibition grounds under the name of "WLAN IZB 2016". Access to this WLAN network is available to all exhibitors and visitors at a cost (45 Euros for one trade fair day; 110 Euros for all three days of the trade fair. You can pay by credit card, PayPal or invoice.)
