The University of Warwick is offering a complimentary shuttle bus service between train station and the University. Please bring these instructions with you on the day, as they will help ensure you have a smooth arrival. VENUE DETAILS University of Warwick CV4 7AL tel: conferences@warwick.ac.uk website: Please note meeting rooms, accommodation and dining areas are not all under one roof and bedrooms are spread across a large area. It is therefore advisable to bring suitable clothing, comfortable footwear and umbrellas as appropriate. When leaving late at night please respect your fellow delegates and leave quietly. Delegates should also exercise caution if walking around the campus alone.

3 TRAVEL DETAILS The University of Warwick is located on the southern outskirts of. Full travel details (by road, air and rail) are outlined in the accompanying document How to find us. Train: station is only four miles the University and a taxi would cost approximately 11. Birmingham International station is also close by and a taxi there would cost approximately 27. At the University there is a taxi rank on Health Centre Road opposite Warwick Arts Centre. Car parking please read if you are driving: Please note that car parks are not adjacent to the registration and accommodation areas. Allow plenty of time to find a space and remember this is a large campus so there may be a 5-10 minute walk to get back to your car. Parking during the conference is free of charge in the conference car parks (7, 8, 8a and 15). Car parks 7 and 15 are barrier operated and on arrival at the barrier you should take a token the machine. Before leaving you should validate the token this can be done at the Conference Park Reception in the Student Union Atrium. Cars parked illegally and any unauthorised parking in disabled spaces will incur a fine. Please note that the University operates a wheel-clamping system. The Federation will not reimburse charges. CONFERENCE REGISTRATION Conference registration will take place in the Conference Park Reception in the Student Union Atrium (next to Rootes Building). Building 62 on the campus map. Please note we will not be using Rootes Reception as the reception area has been re-developed. The Bar, Restaurant and conference rooms will still be in use. The Federation s registration desks will be open at the following times: Wednesday 19 March 08:30 18:45 Thursday 20 March 09:00 15:35 Note: Room keys will not be available until 15:00 on your day of arrival. At registration you will be issued with your name badge. Please wear your badge at all times. This will allow you entry to the exhibition and help with security. It will also enable you to identify fellow delegates. ACCOMMODATION Room keys are available the Conference Park Reception 15:00 on the day of arrival. The latest check-in for accommodation will be 23:00. En suite accommodation will be on campus. You must vacate your room by 09:30 on your departure day. A luggage store is available in the Conference Park Reception. Bedrooms do not have TVs or telephones. Coin-operated and phone card telephones are available throughout the campus. All bedrooms have hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. If you are not staying on campus, you can source hotel accommodation through a variety of websites including and

4 DIETARY REQUIREMENTS If you have specific dietary needs, please indicate these on your booking form. If you have already submitted your form without filling in this section, please contact the Federation s Business Sales and Support Team on or events@housing.org.uk with your dietary requirements. Please note that we are unable to guarantee that the venue can meet dietary requirements for any delegates whose bookings are received after Wednesday 19 February. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS The venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users. If you need wheelchair access or if you have any special requirements, please contact the Business Sales and Support Team on The Federation is unable to provide care assistance but carers can attend free of charge. CONFERENCE FEE Your fee includes a delegate pack, refreshments and meals as detailed within the programme for those days that you are booked on to the conference. The conference dinner, drinks reception and after party on Wednesday evening are free to attend. If you wish to attend the conference networking dinner please ensure you mark this on your booking form as places are subject to availability. SESSION CHOICES The Federation will endeavour to accommodate your session choices. However, due to the number of delegates attending the conference and the restrictions on some breakout rooms, this may not always be possible. You will be able to make alternative choices on the day, according to availability. We recommend you choose your sessions on the booking form and make a second choice. Please make your choices when booking your place. MEETING ROOMS All main plenary sessions are located in the Warwick Arts Centre (building 67 on the campus map). Sub-plenary and breakout sessions will take place in various locations on campus. Please refer to the conference guide for session locations when onsite. MESSAGES FOR DELEGATES We are unable to convey any messages personally. Therefore, please restrict messages to emergencies only. Alternatively, PCs with free internet and access are available for both day and residential guests in the Conference Park Reception. These may be accessed daily between 07:00 23:00. SECURITY Please remember to be vigilant throughout the conference to ensure the safety of your property. If items cannot be watched, then it is important that they are properly secured. Neither Federation nor venue staff will accept any personal belongings for safekeeping. These should be kept with you at all times or left in the designated left luggage or cloakroom facilities. CONFERENCE NETWORKING EVENING & DINNER Conference networking dinner Your fee includes access to the conference dinner on Wednesday 19 March 18:45 to 20:50 in the Rootes Building. You must have confirmed your place in advance and have a ticket which you will be issued with your badge on registration. Please note there are two different tickets, which will be checked on the door: 1. Panorama Suite this room has reached maximum capacity 2. Chancellors Suite the after dinner speaker will be via live video link the Panorama Suite. If you have not pre-booked, but would like to attend please ask at the registration desk on-site. Drinks reception and after party Your fee also includes entry into the conference drinks reception which takes place in the exhibition after dinner on Wednesday 19 March 20:50 to 23:00. Don t miss out on the networking highlight of the conference where you can enjoy dessert, music, entertainment, cocktails and and much more! The fun doesn t stop there, why not come along to the after party 23:00 till late in Warwick s Terrace Bar. REFRESHMENTS & BREAKFAST Refreshments on Wednesday and Thursday will be served in the exhibition marquee. Lunch on Wednesday and Thursday will be provided.
