1 2019 Winter Trade Show Information The WSCGA Winter Trade Show will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Holiday Inn & Convention Center in Stevens Point, from 8:00am to 3:30pm. For best exhibit rates and booth locations, be sure to register early! Concurrent Events: The following events will also take place at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center. We have planned breaks so that school participants may visit the trade show at various times throughout the day. Wisconsin Cranberry School: January 23 from 8:00am-4:30pm January 24 from 9:00am-3:45pm WSCGA Annual Winter Meeting: January 23 from 1:30pm-3:00pm for WSCGA members only Registration Options: Exhibiting at the trade show is only available to paid WSCGA Associate Members. Please remit membership form and payment with or before trade show registration. Mail: Return completed registration form the WSCGA office check payment must accompany registration. 2 2019 Winter Trade Show Information Parking: Exhibitor parking is located on the NE side of the Convention Center (see enclosed map). Equipment, trailers, and large or extra vehicles are not permitted in hotel parking areas. Do not bring equipment/vehicles for outdoor display or sale at event. Lunch: Exhibitor lunch tickets are available for purchase in advance of the event (see registration form). Exhibitor lunch runs from 11:00am to 11:30am (while Cranberry School is in session). Trade Show Take-Down: Exhibitors may take down after 3:30pm. The Associate Member Committee asks that you respect this policy. Anyone taking down early may not be allowed to exhibit at future events. Social Hour: Following the day s events, WSCGA will host an on-site Social Hour from approximately 4:30pm to 5:30pm for all school participants and exhibitors. Hotel Accommodations: A block of guest rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Hotel under the Group Block Code CRN. The conference rate is $99 plus tax per night for a King Bed w/ sleeper sofa room or a 2 Queen Bed room. 5 2019 Vendor Policies Vehicles: If a vehicle is part of the Vendor Booth, please contact the Holiday Inn Sales Department at for a Vehicle Agreement Form. o Vehicles will not be allowed to set up unless the Agreement is signed by Vendor and returned before the Vendor arrives to set up. o Holiday Inn & Convention Center will have hotel staff supervising large vehicle placement in Expo and Commons to protect carpet. Damage to carpet/tiles will incur a replacement fee of $30.00, payable by Vendor. General: o Event loading and unloading must be done in designated loading zone areas. o Access to fire exit doors must not be blocked. All event set-ups must be compliant with the Stevens Point and Wisconsin Fire Codes. o Large items displayed, housed, or presented on any floor must be placed on a tarp of similar covering so as not to stain or damage flooring. Heavy materials must not be dragged, skidded, or rolled over floors. o All booths must be kept reasonably clean and clear of clutter. If music is played at your booth, please keep it at a level that does not interfere with other Vendors or activities. o Expo and Commons booth spaces should be returned in the condition received. Vendor take-down begins at 3:30pm please dispose of all garbage and recycling appropriately. All items and property must be removed by end of day on January 23, o No fryers, halogen lighting, or smoke machines allowed in any booth. o Vendors may not post, attach, paste, tape, or affix any placard or signage to walls or doors. Signs, banners, or other items cannot be hung from ceilings. o The Holiday Inn & Convention Center is not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen items. Electrical: Vendors have the option to purchase electricity for $35 per booth. Vendors are responsible for providing power surge protection and UL listed extension cords.
