Seek $ for other projects e.g. new ATB. Needs analysis validates 2006 recommendation that business case for paving doesn t exist. Air carriers are asked to continue working with community and others on what they need/want.

29 WHAT WE WISH FOR IN THE FUTURE New GPS approaches for Faro Airport

30 WHAT WE WISH FOR IN THE FUTURE Greater certainty in the CARS program This can be achieved by: Air carriers indicate to NC their desire for the program to continue indefinitely. Air carriers lobby NC for the CARS services they need and aren t currently getting. YG and NC work closer on changes to the program e.g. HWOS, training. NC indicate their long term plans for the program and individual sites.

31 WHAT WE WISH FOR IN THE FUTURE Recognition by air carriers that Aviation Branch has limited resources to meet their needs. Industry has to tell us where their activity is happening so we can better serve them. The greater the lead time, the better. Industry can apply to Resource Access Road Program $500,000 available annually for road upgrading, culvert and bridge work, and the development of airstrips and docks.
