4 North Wiltshire The Mount is situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Upper Seagry located between the North Wiltshire market towns of Malmesbury and Chippenham. The village has a popular pub and well attended primary school. The neighbouring village of Great Somerford has a post office, village shop, pub and primary school. Communications are excellent with the M4 motorway Junction 17 (about 2.5 miles) and Junction 16 (about 12 miles). Mainline rail connections from Chippenham and Swindon Stations with services to London Paddington approximately 75 minutes and 60 minutes respectively as well as connections to Bristol and the West Country. There are a number of excellent private schools such as St Mary s and St Margaret s in Calne, Beaudesert Park (school bus service), Marlborough College, Westonbirt Prep, Westonbirt School and Grittleton School. There are also popular secondary schools in Malmesbury, Chippenham and Bath.
