They also offer Accommodation Only for which they are fully bonded. Offering Freephone Telephone No, Private Transfers and confirming Special Requests if necessary such as intercommunicating rooms, 12% Commission paid on everything and promotional support make them very popular with the Trade (78% of bookings) especially as they do not deal with Multiples and do not offer discounts to Clients direct. They will also Price Match if possible and even reduce it by a further 10.

2 Incentives for July and August are Complimentary Lounge Passes for clients for each booking received and for staff 5 rising to 10 (Tax paid) in August for Croatia and Bermuda.. They are shortly going to feature the Greek Islands and France, particularly the South where there is a gap in the market. Members suggested other Destinations which Tour Operators do not feature and she promised to take the ideas back to her Directors. Finally, she mentioned that from 1 st August all Bookings with children over 2 yrs will receive a BUBBLE BUM for every child. There was huge interest in this blow Up Alternative to a Booster Chair which may prove to be a good selling tool. At 8.15 p.m. everyone thanked Gemma for coming and Members assured her they felt it had been mutually beneficial After a short break, Tony welcomed back Frank, who has made a good recovery from his recent illness and everybody cheered. He then introduced Gary Lewis and Ellis Cain-Jones from TTA-Worldchoice. THE MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING Were approved by Katy and seconded by Tony. TREASURERS REPORT Frank went through the Financial Accounts ending 3lst December 2010 and reported the closing Balance was 3, after all the expenses. As as today, the Bank Balance amounted to 3, GILLS CRUISES Members were advised that P & P ASSOCIATES have bought the assets. After some discussion regarding Cruising, Member felt the reduction in Commissions for next year will not benefit the Independent Travel Agent. It was felt we should not have to pay the extra 300 for the Cruise Club but Gary justified this by explaining why they had to raise the Levy for the Cruise, Ski and Luxury Club.

3 WORLDCHOICE Ellis gave a resume of his Travel Experience and Gary explained the Original Strategy of TTA and the Merger with Worldchoice in order to negotiate with Suppliers. In a declining market, at present TTA have 420 Members and Worldchoice 340 and they feel very enthusiastic about the future of TTA/Worldchoice in comparison to other Consortia. They will be offering ;- Enormous COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITIES to cut out the middle men. GOLD PLATED ATOL which will have full cover, the Final Details to be Presented at the Conference in September. MARKETING will have more money and imput in the future to give all Members what they want according to their area and type of clients. Members felt more effort should be made to the Public of the Brand awareness Gary advised that they would designate information that may be of interest To Members such as Local Marketing. He reminded Members that TTA-Worldchoice already receive the Benefits of:- ACAS GROUP ATOL SUPPLIER FAILURE COVER LOW DEPOSIT SCHEME TRAINING WEBSITE They will shortly offer: GOLD PLATED ATOL HONEYCOMB TECHNOLOGY Gary felt everybody should support the Conference as it was so important for The Members to meet the Suppliers and they would be the first to know about The Gold Plated Atol and the Honeycomb Technology. He advised that TTA-Worldchoice are going through changes and went on to explain the workings of the TTA-Worldchoice partnership and differences between Members from Worldchoice, Worldchoice Plus and TTA.

4 Ellis agreed to send Tony a List of TTA Members in the area to see if they would like to attend the Worldchoice Diamond Region monthly meetings. Members were informed that Simon Hargreaves is Managing Director of WORLDCHOICE, Gary Lewis is MD of TTA and Ellis Cain-Jones is Group Commercial Director of TTA. Tony felt that the Region does not have any feedback from MCC and everyone agreed. Gary agreed to look into the matter and ensure the Diamond Region was included in future. Dinos asked about the Target Tracker to reduce Membership Fees as he felt it unfair and this matter was discussed without any conclusions. Ellis and Gary advised everyone that there was a lot of work going on for their Benefits and they had taken on board everything that had been said to them At the meeting and they would try to address them all to everyones satisfaction. DREAM HOLIDAYS Cannon Travel and Rickmansworth Travel each had 1 booking with Dream Holidays. COOKS/CO-OP TRAVEL It was generally known that most of their shops are losing money and are going to close their shops that are in competition with each other in same area. Going Places will become CO-OP. TRIPS Katy advised there would be an Informal Get Together at own expense at The IMPERIAL PALACE RESTAURANT along the A41 in Bushey on THURSDAY, 8th DECEMBER. If interested, you must advise Katy so she can book places accordingly. BUDAPEST 22 nd to 25 th OCTOBER 2011 Katy advised that so far 15 Members were booked and it promises to be a very interesting Itinerary. Please contact Katy for more information. WORLDCHOICE CONFERENCE 23 to 25 th SEPTEMBER 2011 At present there were 6 Members attending from the Diamond Region and there are more Members are interested. Tony reminded everyone that ACE were having their Conference in AMSTERDAM in NOVEMBER. Some Members were attending.

5 DIAMOND REGION ANNUAL DINNER 12 th JANUARY 2012 The L ESCARGOT RESTAURANT in London has been booked for the above date as everyone thought it was so enjoyable and such good value this year. Katy is looking into possible destinations for next Spring. Suggestions were A River Cruise, Bucharest and Oporto Katy advised she will report back after the Summer break. ANY OTHER BUSINESS Kevin asked if there was any further news about the 14 Days Cooling Off Period. This has been kicked into the long grass for the moment. Bernard mentioned that he was going to the ABTA Meeting regarding the ATOL Rules and Regulations and he was asked to report back at the next meeting. A vote of thanks was given to Gary and Ellis for attending and it was hoped they would take the opportunity to come again in the near future as it had been very beneficial. The Meeting closed at p.m.
