13 CONNECTIVITY CONNECTED TO THE CITY SALFORD CENTRAL TRAIN STATION Middlewood Locks is just a short walk from Salford Central train station, which together with the local area, is undergoing a multimillion-pound transformation. This development will see the station extended to a total of nine platforms, designed to service over 18 trains per hour.
