It is intended to run the vehicles today. Events: AVVVA Christmas Dinner Sun 29 Nov, The Newsletter says it all, it was very special.

3 Northam Vintage Swapmeet Sun 21 Feb 2016, 6.30am-12noon, Jubilee Oval Brookton Old Time Motor Show 19 th March, The theme is "All Things Aussie", with a feature display to celebrate the 50 years of the Holden Torana. A popular event, so registration/notification of attendance by Members is essential to secure a position. Swapmeet Last minute details to be checked. Special truck organised to be used to transport toilets, both together, this for a cost of $550. More professional and safe to transport this way. Moved Barry Bristow-Stagg.. Sec Malcolm Strahan That the Portable Toilets be transported as above. Carried The bulk of the Oval needs to be used for Stalls, marked out as per last year with clear avenues between rows of stalls. Main entrance (Peel Tce) still to be closed- check no other events. Because of heat etc check that car displays can be Edge of oval, off bitumen area. Fred does newspaper ads, check if Quokka and Gumtree used. The Feb. meeting on the Saturday before the Swapmeet. We will need plenty of help on the Saturday and Sunday. Moved Fred Plane.. Seconded: Milton Sudholz That the reports be accepted Carried New Members: Nil General Business: *Items other than Car related: To be disposed of today and next week. 3 Members interested. *Security: re the break-in and stolen cash from the Railway Museum and unattended visiting. Members need to be aware that for their own safety and general security they should not attend the Clubrooms or Shed premises unaccompanied. It will also be emphasised to the Shire or Tradespeople that no visiting to occur unless a Club Member is on the premises at the time. *March Meeting: This falls on the day of the event at Brookton, which many of us attend. After the Swapmeet it is better to have the meeting sooner rather than later, ie on the Saturday before Brookton. Decide at Jan. meeting. *President Murray & Jenny: Advise that they no longer have a landline. Phone contact by mobile only. Next Meeting - Saturday, 16 th January 2016,10.30am. There being no further business meeting closed at 11.40am. Presidents Report With the silly season been and gone, it's time to get the new year started with, as always the swap meet. There will be a serious need for our members too put their hands up too give the stalwarts a hand setting up and running the event. This weeks meeting will be crucial to the organisation of the event and we really do need as many as possible to help with ideas and defining who will carry out which duties and when.
