21 THE BIG EVENT FLEXIBLE SPACES Thanks to the vast interconnecting space of the Pavilion, Pier and Funfair suites, you re able to think differently, perhaps a bit bolder than you would in hotels with a lot less flexibility. For instance, we transformed the space into a fairground, and brought in full-size dodgems for guests to drive out their inhibitions and let their hair down. We know how to use space and what interrupts, disarms and inspires. The flexibility of these spaces allow imaginations to run riot, creating truly one-off, bespoke events. Features like dynamic seating for workshops, deck chairs, bar stools and colour-changing light boxes can transform an ordinary gathering into an event that s memorable and mould-breaking. Our fixed photobooth attracts a crowd in a flash. And there aren t many who can resist buying a cone from our traditional ice cream bike, as it does the rounds at summer events, conventions, wedding fayres and exhibitions. 21

Take the M23 southbound. The M23 becomes the A23 and takes you into Brighton. At the roundabout on the A23/A27 take the first turning on the left joining the A27 towards Worthing. Take the next available junction off the A27 which will be signposted for Hove. At the top of the slip road take the second left off the roundabout and proceed down Dyke Road Avenue (which becomes Dyke Road). After approximately 1.6 miles, turn right at the traffic lights into The Upper Drive. Follow this road over the next set of lights) junction of Old Shoreham Road - A270) to the end then turn left into The Drive (B2186). Continue straight down to the seafront. At the seafront, turn left, stay on the near side lane and proceed for approximately 1 mile where you will find the red bricked Metropole.
